Red Net Moment News on December 20On December 16, Beihu District of Chenzhou City ushered in the first snow since the beginning of winter, and some roads in Beihu District were icy, especially the S211 line, X001 line, and X003 line roads in the southwest mountainous area were seriously iced. In view of the rain, snow and freezing weather, the district highway construction and maintenance center immediately organized cadres and workers to hold a deployment meeting, implemented a 24-hour duty system, and launched an anti-ice and rescue emergency plan, and organized forces to fight ice and snow to ensure smooth flow.

For rural roads in high-altitude mountainous areas, joint local towns, villages and traffic police departments will implement traffic closure control measures.

Many trees beside the highway were crushed by snow, which affected the potential safety hazards of driving, and personnel were organized to cut down the crushed trees in time.

Reserve 30 tons of industrial salt on bridges and national and provincial trunk roads, and sprinkle salt and de-ice on icy bridge decks and roads at any time to ensure the safe passage of vehicles.

As of 10 a.m. on December 19, the Beihu District Highway Construction and Maintenance Center dispatched a total of 136 emergency rescue personnel, 23 sets of machinery and equipment, inspected 636 kilometers of highways, set up more than 100 safety warning signs, disposed of 23 potential safety hazards, and reserved 30 tons of industrial salt.
