Urban Automotive, a UK-based aftermarket gear manufacturer, showcased the modified Rolls-Royce Ghost and Range Rover at SEMA 2023, and the company believes that flat alloy wheels and bright interiors will be a popular car tuning trend in 2024.
As a custom tuner of some of the world's most coveted luxury cars, we've been keeping a close eye on styles and trends that could lead to the next big thing," said Simon Dearn, owner and head of design at Urban Automotive.
The flat alloy contrasts with the aggressive multi-spoke wheels with two-tone styling. Urban Automotive said this style choice marks a "step towards more retro-style architecture". For reference, the picture below shows the 24-inch custom-forged Cactus Jack x Forgiato wheels used on Kim Kardashian's Urban Automotive Range Rover.

At the same time, bright and bold interiors are also expected to be trendy in 2024. Urban Automotive partnered with Absolute Motors to design a custom teal interior for kickboxing champion Rico Verhoeven's Mercedes-Benz G-Class. It looks very ambitious, so it's up to you to decide if you should choose this color theme or stick with the typical black or gray.
Mansory is another tuner that is notorious for doing this type of in-house customization. The German tuner's latest rendition of the Lamborghini URUS is predominantly green, matching the two-tone exterior finish.
Other purported modification trends include pastel vinyl packaging, traditional-style architecture, and visual carbon fiber. Pastel vinyl wraps are expected to become more popular alongside the usual satin black wraps, while traditional-style architecture is said to have grown over the past five years. New finishes and technologies using carbon fiber are also expected to be announced in the new year.
