On the afternoon of December 28th, the "Splendid Road" exhibition of works by Chinese contemporary artists was grandly opened at the Chinese Cultural Center in Bangkok. The opening ceremony was presided over by Wang Yongliang, a senior person. The exhibition has been highly praised and supported by experts and scholars such as Ren Junwei, associate professor of the Academy of Fine Arts of Capital Normal University and postdoctoral fellow of aesthetics at Peking University. The initiators of the exhibition, Xiang Le, Lu Chenhui, Li Na and Gu Dele, donated books to the Chinese Students and Scholars Association of Thailand, Gele University of Thailand, Shandong General Chamber of Commerce of Thailand, and Global International Service of Thailand. At the end of the ceremony, Mr. Li Yingmin, Director of China News Service in Thailand, announced the opening of the exhibition. It is reported that this exhibition brings together more than 80 masterpieces created by 20 Chinese contemporary artists in recent years, including Cheng Jun, Cao Yiqun, Deng Kaihua, Fu Jihong, Fang Zhenghe, Xiang Le, Gong Cheng, Guo Rui, Jin Xinming, Kang Shouyong, Li Encheng, Lu Chenhui, Liu Fang, Wang Aijun, Wu Peng, Yin Shuyu, Yang Pin, Zhou Yasheng, Zhou Yongping, Zhang Jihua, etc., with themes involving Chinese painting, watercolor, calligraphy, seal carving and other art categories. The works in the exhibition are rich in connotation and exquisite in artistic skills, whether it is the shaping of brush and ink, the characteristics of style, or the artistic interest and characteristics of the times, all of which reflect the solid skills and new look of Chinese artists, and bring all-round and in-depth visual experience and aesthetic enjoyment to the Thai people. On the basis of extensive absorption of traditional Chinese techniques and artistic language, the participating artists also effectively combine Chinese poetry, calligraphy, painting and printing, complementing each other and reflecting each other, vividly demonstrating the traditional charm of Chinese art and the aesthetic expression of Chinese artists to traditional culture. The exhibition works can also be integrated into the characteristics of the new era, showing the infinite charm of Chinese civilization, while also bringing a wonderful artistic feast to the Thai people, fully demonstrating the beautiful scene of the happy life of the Chinese and Thai people. It is understood that the "Splendid Road" joint exhibition of works by Chinese contemporary artists will continue to be on display until January 3, 2024. During the event, art lovers can visit the China Cultural Center in Bangkok for free and immerse themselves in the charm of traditional calligraphy, painting and contemporary art.
