A woman stabbed her husband to death with a knife because she could not stand her husband's violence against her daughter, who was about to give birth. The People's Procuratorate of Fushun City, Liaoning Province, indicted the woman on December 11 for intentional injury.
The woman's name is Bai Moumou, 59 years old, primary school education, no job, and lives in Fushun County, Fushun City, Liaoning Province. She and the victim Wang Moujia (died at the age of 51) are husband and wife. At about 23 o'clock on May 17, 2022, Wang Moumou returned home after drinking and had a fierce quarrel with Bai Moumou over marital relationship issues and escalated into a physical conflict.
In the course of the conflict, Wang Moujia's daughter Wang Mouyi came out to persuade her to fight, but was beaten and scolded by her father. After Bai Moumou saw this scene, she was heartbroken, she took out a white steel knife from the kitchen cupboard, returned to the corridor of the living room, and stabbed Wang Moumou in the abdomen while he was unprepared. Later, emergency personnel confirmed that Wang Moujia had died.
After forensic identification, Wang Moujia was used by others to act on the abdomen with a blade, causing the rupture of the liver and stomach, resulting in massive blood loss and death. Bai Moumou was controlled by the public security organs at the scene of the crime and brought back for investigation.
The prosecution believes that Bai Moumou deliberately injured Wang Moumou with a knife due to family conflicts, causing his death, his behavior violated the criminal law, the facts of the crime are clear, the evidence is credible and sufficient, and he should be investigated for criminal responsibility for the crime of intentional injury.
