According to reports, Li Auto has re-architected the intelligent driving algorithm model, which will upgrade the modular algorithm architecture based on small models and artificial rules to the end-to-end algorithm architecture based on large models.
Among them, AD max 30 adopts the visual technology route, uses the BEV large model and OCC (occupancy network) algorithm, and adds the functions of off-car parking and valet parking. According to reports, the new valet parking can support the cross-level driving of the 10-layer underground system.
Previously, it was reported that Li Auto has introduced external first-class suppliers in intelligent driving, and the autonomous driving company Qingzhou Zhihang will assist the ideal high-end intelligent driving function in the Pro version of the model. The original intelligent driving team of Ideal focuses on the technological breakthrough of its self-developed AD MAX version, which aims to achieve the global intelligent driving capability of urban NOA and high-speed NOA. In fact, since the beginning of this year, brands including Huawei, Xiaopeng, and Ideal have been accelerating the promotion of visual technology solutions, and the Jiyue 01, which was launched in October, also relies on the "pure vision" perception algorithm to achieve high-level intelligent assisted driving.
Technologies such as the "BEV+Transformer" model and the Occupancy Network (OCC) were first introduced by Tesla, which only needs to extract and process the image data collected by the camera like the human eye works, and convert it into 3D images.
Cheng Peng, CEO of NavInfo, a high-precision map provider, once said that the essence of the "BEV+Transform" visual route is to allow car companies to use cheaper sensors to realize intelligent driving functions, which can remove lidar.
It is understood that the OTA of Li Auto is expected to open the full push to users of the Ideal L series models on December 19. ad max 3.0 will be upgraded in December this year, AD Pro 30 will also be fully pushed in the first half of next year.
The Ideal OTA upgrade also supports generative large models on the car, and the Ideal intelligent voice assistant introduces the Mind GPT multi-modal cognitive large model developed by Ideal Quan, which is still in the internal test version. According to the demonstration of the press conference, the voice assistant after the large model gets on the car can realize the dialogue and interaction of multiple people in complex scenes.
Another noteworthy is that this OTA continues the range improvement brought by the previous ideal OTA, and the upgraded L series models can increase the winter range by 15 to 20%.
After deliveries exceeded 40,000 units for the first time in October, Li Auto's deliveries in November increased by 1 month-on-month5% to 410,000 units, and achieved the annual sales target of 300,000 units ahead of schedule. Ideal officials said that it will challenge for monthly deliveries of 50,000 units in December.
