Fayetteville Animal Protection Society (FAPS) staff recently saw five fluffy puppies and a crumpled letter in a small cage at the entrance of the office building.
Jackie Peery, executive director of FAPS, told ** that these little furballs are very cute when they look at people and wag their tails, except for some malnutrition, and their overall physical condition is good.
The staff was stunned to pick up the five abandoned puppies, but when everyone saw the note next to them, their feelings were even more mixed.
The story of the puppies was posted online, and the post was accompanied by ** of the cute puppies and ** of the letter, hoping that the community could understand the poignant story behind them.
These are two very worn sheets of paper, and the handwriting is not very neat.
The note read:
Please help!
One day I found a stray female dog that I used to feed had died on the side of the road and had been hit by a car. Then unfortunately I found these puppies ......I knew where the female dog had her puppies, and after searching near the places where I often saw her, I found the puppies.
I'm sorry to drop them like that, becauseI myself was homeless and unable to care for them。My heart breaks for them and their mom dogs. I just want them to have a chance to be loved like a motherDon't be like me who has never had a mother's love.
Please don't have bad thoughts about me. But it feels hard to leave them alone in the cold wind waiting for their mother dog who won't come home.
Sincerely, nameless people.
Ms. Piri told ** that she and her team were deeply moved by the homeless man's story. The identity of the homeless man remains a mystery.
The only information we have about the puppies is a note left by an unknown man. She said.
In the group's Facebook post, the FAPS group suggested to the anonymous man: "If you want, please drop by the shelter to visit these puppies and accept our gratitude!."”
"It's touching that despite his poverty, he still takes care of stray and saves puppies in bad weather," Ms Piri added. Now the little ones happily huddle together, eat their fill, and take a nap in the warm beds in the kennel. ”
