What are the ways to study in Japan?
There are four ways to study in Japan:
(a) Japan** (Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology) Scholarship to Study Abroad:There are 5 scholarship programs available in China, but the main open recruitment program is for "research students" for the purpose of pursuing a doctoral degree. The program recruits 110 students from China each year to study doctoral programs in Japan, and the enrollment target is those who have obtained a master's degree before going to Japan, and the age limit is under 35 years old. The scholarship amount is $14 per month50,000 yen (about 11,200 yuan), tuition is free, and the scholarship is paid until the completion of the doctoral program (about 35-4 years, including the "postgraduate" period).
(b) Self-financed study abroad:Admission is conducted in accordance with the procedures such as the selection examination designated by each educational institution. Chinese students who apply to Japanese universities or graduate schools can go through the relevant procedures after passing the selection examination in Japan or overseas. You can also consider attending a language school in Japan first, strengthening your language skills, preparing for the Examination for Japanese University Admission for International Students (EJU), and applying for a school of your choice in Japan after 1-2 years.
(c) Exchange Study:The universities of China and Japan cooperate to exchange students' study abroad methods. Generally, the credits earned in the exchange program can be converted into credits at the university in your home country. For more information about this type of study, please contact the school in your home country.
(d) Short-term study abroadCourses that do not aim to obtain a degree can be taught at educational institutions such as universities in Japan where you can learn the language or experience the local culture. Due to the short duration, working adults or domestic students can take advantage of the long vacation to participate.
