Text|Liu Ying.

On the left side of the picture, a boy is depicted, and the unicorn in his hand spits out a jade book; On the right, a woman with her elbows propped up on a Bogu stone table is depicted, with a graceful and demure expression; In the middle, a woman stands sideways with Ruyi in both hands, looking back at the unicorn; There are also high tables, drum stools, and Buddha's hands, incense burners, books, study rooms and other offerings around. The two women have exquisite hair ornaments, gorgeous clothes, facial eyebrows into the temples, phoenix eyes slightly raised, vermilion lips, etc., which are portrayed very delicately, vividly interpreting the aesthetic rules of shaping the image of beauties such as "shaving shoulders", "slender", "nose like gall", "melon seed face" and "cherry mouth" in folk paintings. The picture in the picture comes from the allusion of "Lin Tu Jade Book". The unicorn is a symbol of auspiciousness and can bring children to people. Wang Jia of the Jin Dynasty "Collecting Memoirs ยท King Zhou Ling" contains: "When the master was not born, there was a Lin Tuyu book in the house of Que Li (Confucius's hometown), Wen Yun: 'The son of the water spirit, the king of the declining Zhou Dynasty. Therefore, the two dragons surround the room, and the five stars descend to the court. Zheng is (the mother of Confucius) is wise, and knows that it is a miracle, but it is to embroider the silk to tie the horns, and to go to the forest. In the Ming Dynasty, with the admiration of the rulers, the status of Confucius was unprecedentedly improved, and the legend of "Lin Tu Yushu" was widely accepted by the people, and the images related to it began to appear in folk culture. Both of them appear in a large number of folk art works such as New Year paintings, embroidery, paper-cutting, and paintings. The work is from the famous New Year painting production area of Tianjin Yang Liuqing. Yangliu Youth Painting is the leader of the art of New Year painting in China, with its exquisite carving, meticulous painting, rich subject matter and extensive influence, it can be called the culmination of the art of New Year painting, and enjoys a high reputation in history. In the production process, Yangliu Youth Painting adopts the technique of combining overprinting and pen painting, so that it not only maintains the woodblock charm of strong workmanship, but also does not lose the traditional folk painting style. The work is the original work of the willow youth painting in the Qianlong period of the Qing Dynasty, except for the ink color lines in the picture, the rest are hand-drawn with natural pigments, the overall style is delicate and elegant, the characters in the painting are handsome, the color is long-lasting and new, it is the early masterpiece of the willow youth painting, and has high artistic value.
