The old woman recognized her exhibits
In the long history of the Chinese nation, heroes have emerged one after another. Whenever a country is in danger, there is always a group of brave people who stand up and fight for the future of the country.
They are the backbone of the nation, some of them have left behind legendary stories that have been widely told, while others have silently returned to their ordinary jobs and disappeared from sight when peace came again.
Zhu Wenqi is one of them.
Zhu Wenqi was originally a simple and unpretentious village woman who worked hard in the fields all her life. However, fate did not favor her, and her husband died of illness.
In the middle of the Sino-Japanese War, her life changed significantly again, and she welcomed a nephew, You Wenzhai, who was determined to devote himself to the war of resistance. You Wenzhai hopes that she can become a female intelligence officer of our party.
Women have always been seen as a relatively weak group in the revolutionary ranks, and their numbers are much lower than that of men. However, it is precisely this weakness that gives female informants an advantage, as they are more likely to be overlooked and more difficult to detect.
Although Zhu Wenqi's heart was full of worries, she was not afraid of the difficult situation that was coming. What she really worries about is that she is an illiterate person, and the importance of this job is self-evident.
She feared that she would not be able to do the job and that it would hurt the party's subsequent strategic arrangements.
With the constant encouragement of her nephew, she finally overcame her inner fear and bravely took on the mission of an intelligence officer. Since then, a swarthy rural woman has begun to shuttle through the streets and alleys and start her important intelligence career.
In order to avoid the attention of the enemy, Zhu Wenqi tried to choose a sparsely populated path, however, inevitably, she still had to pass through the city gate.
When Zhu Wen first saw those fierce puppet soldiers, he was inevitably a little nervous. But she understands that at this moment she must remain calm, otherwise there is a high risk that she will be discovered by the enemy.
Seeing that the enemy was about to search her basket, she had an idea and began to complain to the enemy. The enemy had already seen that she was ragged and penniless, and with a few profanities coming out from time to time, the guards immediately drove her away.
With these experiences, Zhu Wenqi also became more experienced, and successfully evaded the enemy's search many times, passing on important information to our party. Of course, the task was not always successfully completed, and at that time Zhu Wenqi received a special task to deliver a batch of extremely important leaflets to the places occupied by the Japanese puppet army.
Zhu Wenqi once again hid the leaflet at the bottom of the broken basket. As she passed through the city gates, she noticed that the enemy was scrupulously checking what everyone was carrying. In this case, her leaflet will definitely be discovered.
But Zhu Wenqi came up with a clever idea. She grabbed a puppet soldier and affectionately called him nephew. Confused, she began to count her fingers and explain their kinship.
Because she spoke decently, the puppet army mistakenly thought that she was really his distant relative. As a result, his examination of her became lax. Zhu Wenqi took this opportunity to pass the level.
During the War of Liberation, Zhu Wenqi successfully joined our party with his excellent work performance and held important positions in the local women's federation organization. Although she had a stable job and could live a peaceful life, after the founding of New China, Zhu Wenqi realized that her education level could not meet the requirements of her current position, so she took the initiative to resign from her job, returned to her hometown, and became an ordinary farmer.
One day many years later, Zhu Wenqi visited the Shandong Museum, and the docent told the legendary story of a man who used an embroidery needle to scare off the Japanese army. Zhu Wenqi corrected that he used shoe needles at that time.
When the narrator was surprised, Zhu Wenqi confessed that he was the owner of this sewing kit.
Zhu Wenqi, an ordinary rural woman, although she has no formal education, her patriotic fervor is like a raging flame. When the motherland needed her, she did not hesitate to stand up and use her strength to contribute to the success of the revolution.
Her battlefield may not be as fierce as the frontline, but her contribution is no less than that of the soldiers on the front. When the motherland achieved a complete victory, she did not covet her status, but chose to silently return to her job and rely on her hard-working hands to support her life.
Although she was a hero during the Anti-Japanese War and could enjoy state subsidies, she never wanted to add a burden to the country. Zhu Wenqi, a true national hero, deserves our deep admiration and memory.
