The Jade Emperor ruled the three worlds of people, gods, and immortals, and had a lofty status and was highly respected by the Six Realms. The Ten Halls of Yama Demon is responsible for the management of the Yama Palace, which is the place where ghosts and monsters gather, and the highest power lies in Yama, as the saying goes, "The king of Yama told you to die in the third watch, who dares to keep people until the fifth watch", which shows that its authority is unshakable.
However, even Yama had three ruthless men who were unwilling to take him in. The first is Bao Zheng, a famous minister of the Northern Song Dynasty, he was born in 999 AD, bright since childhood, diligent and studious, and was admitted to the Jinshi in his early years, but in order to be filial to his parents, he refused to be appointed by the imperial court, and later he was honest and fair in the officialdom, and he was highly respected. His ethics are upright, and he is known as "less than the joint, there is Yama Bao Lao".
The second is Fan Zhongyan, the prime minister of the Northern Song Dynasty, who was born in 989 AD, experienced family changes, studied hard, and excelled in character and learning, but was degraded many times. He was an honest official, outspoken and daring, and although he was repeatedly belittled, he was deeply admired by the people. His life is full of legends, leaving many famous stories through the ages, and "The Story of Yueyang Tower" is an immortal literary classic.
The third is the famous general of the Sui Dynasty, Han Baohu, he is brave and courageous, likes to read, joined the Sui army in his early years, made great achievements, and finally pacified Nan Chen and captured Chen Shubao alive. He lived a brave and fearless life, and when he was about to die, some people called him "The King", and he left contentedly.
These three characters all showed noble character and extraordinary talent, and although their fate was sometimes tortuous, they always adhered to their beliefs and made outstanding contributions to the development of the country and the nation. Their stories inspire future generations to become legends in history.
