In the end, the phase is changed according to the Spring Festival or the beginning of the spring

The determination of the genus is calculated according to the Chinese lunar calendar, which is a lunisolar calendar that combines the solar year and the moon year with the moon making one circle around the earth as a cycle, about 295 days, that's a month. Due to the difference between the solar year and the moon year, each year in the lunar calendar is usually about 11 days less than the Gregorian year, and in order to adjust for this difference, the lunar calendar introduces the mechanism of leap months.

There are two different views on the change of the genus phase:

1.Chinese New Year Sect: Some people believe that the zodiac signs should be changed according to the Lunar New Year, also known as the Spring Festival. The Spring Festival is the beginning of the Chinese New Year and the beginning of the lunar zodiac year. For example, if the Chinese New Year falls on February 10, then the babies born from this day will all belong to the next zodiac sign.

2.Beginning of Spring: Others believe that the zodiac should be changed according to the beginning of spring in the 24 solar terms. The beginning of spring is usually the first solar term of the lunar year, marking the arrival of spring and the beginning of a new year. For example, if the beginning of spring falls on February 4, then the babies born from this date will all belong to the next zodiac sign.

Actually, there is some truth to both of these views, as they are both related to the traditional Chinese calendar system. The Spring Festival is one of the most important traditional festivals in China, symbolizing the beginning of a new year, while the beginning of spring is the first of the 24 solar terms, marking the beginning of the cycle of the four seasons.

However, in the actual application of folklore, most people still tend to change the genus according to the Spring Festival. This is because the Spring Festival is not only the beginning of the Lunar New Year, but also one of the most important traditional festivals in China, with profound cultural connotations and historical heritage. When people celebrate the Spring Festival, they also celebrate the beginning of the zodiac year, so it has become a common custom to change the zodiac sign according to the Spring Festival.
