First stepsBefore your flight departs, you will need to complete the NZ Declaration Form.

There are two ways for you to choose from

**Fill in: It is recommended to use the nztd app to fill in the information and declare. However, please note that you need to declare between 24 hours and the time of departure before your flight, as early declarations will not be valid. After successfully filling in and declaring, the system will send a reference number to your email address, and it is recommended that you take a screenshot to save it. This information is linked to your passport chip, and the New Zealand MPI** scans your passport at the time of entry to see all the declaration information.

Fill it out on paperIf you are not familiar with the NZTD app, you can also pick up a green paper New Zealand Entry Clearance Form on board the aircraft to fill it out. This **contains detailed questions such as your flight number, **New Zealand accommodation information, length of stay, and what to bring, etc., which you need to fill in and sign truthfully.

Step 2: Upon arrival in New Zealand, self-service immigration through the e-gate.

Once you get off the plane, look for the "International Arrivals" sign and follow the signs through the duty-free area until you reach the e-gate area for self-service customs clearance.
