Jiangyin Zhongshan Park is located near Renmin Middle Road, Jiangyin City, covering an area of about 108 acres. It is not only a place for citizens to enjoy leisure and entertainment, but also one of the must-visit attractions for tourists to Jiangyin.

The predecessor of Zhongshan Park was the Jiangsu Xue Zheng Administration Site Park, which was the official office of the Ming and Qing dynasties in charge of the examination of Xiucai in the imperial examination era of Jiangsu, and was in charge of the education affairs of the whole province, and its status was equal to that of the governor and governor. The shapes of many buildings and structures in the park reflect the characteristics of Chinese classical garden architecture, and the whole project is built"Lotus Hall"、"Forever Mulu"、"Sculpture Square in the Xuezheng District"、"Sun Yat-sen Memorial Tower"and the Water Creek Project and other landscapes.

There were originally thirteen ancient buildings in the park, but they ceased to exist due to war or disrepair, and only exist at present"Instrument Gate"Located at the entrance to the park. Despite this, the scenery inside Zhongshan Park is still beautiful, like a large classical garden in the south of the Yangtze River. The pavilions, pavilions, small bridges, flowing water, winding paths in the park are full of simple and elegant atmosphere.

The history of Zhongshan Park can be traced back to the Northern Song Dynasty, when it was the private garden of a family surnamed Sun"Wanchun Garden"。In the Ming Dynasty, it became the Marquis of Wu's official office, and later rebuilt into the Jiangsu Academic Administration. During the Qing Dynasty, it was called here"Season Garden"and gradually fell into disuse after the abolition of the imperial examination system in 1905.

In 2002, the Jiangsu Xuezheng Administration Ruins Park was renamed as the Middle Park, and underwent a large-scale expansion, which was opened to the public the following year. The park is mainly composed of academic and cultural areas, amusement activity areas, ecological leisure areas, etc., which not only retains the original historical and cultural heritage, but also adds many modern facilities, becoming an open park integrating leisure, entertainment, culture and education.
