1. Q235B steel plate is a kind of low-carbon steel plate. Q235B steel plate is one of the common steel plates in China, which is inexpensive and can be qualified for most products with low performance requirements.

2. Q235B steel plate has a certain elongation, strength, good toughness and castability, easy to stamping and welding, Q235B steel plate is widely used in the manufacture of general mechanical parts. It is mainly used for welded structural parts with high quality requirements in construction and bridge engineering.

The main components of Q235B steel include carbon (C), silicon (Si), manganese (MN), sulfur (S), phosphorus (P), etc. The carbon content of which is 012-0.20, silicon is 030, manganese is 030-0.70. The content of sulfur and phosphorus does not exceed 0045, there are also elements such as chromium (Cr), nickel (Ni), copper (Cu) and other elements with permissible residual content.

4. Mechanical properties Yield strength: The yield strength (ys) of Q235B steel decreases with the increase of thickness. When the thickness is less than 16mm, the ys is 235MPa; When the thickness is greater than 16mm and less than 40mm, the ys is 225MPa; When the thickness is greater than 40mm and less than 100mm, the ys is 215MPa; When the thickness is greater than 100mm and less than 150mm, the ys is 195MPa; When the thickness is greater than 150mm and less than 200mm, the ys is 185MPa. 2.Tensile strength: The tensile strength (UTS) of Q235B steel is 370-500MPa, and the direction of force is not greatly affected. 3.Impact test: Q235B steel under the condition of 20, the performance of the impact test is 27-2 joules (J).
