1. Q235A steel plate is a common low-carbon steel plate, which is widely used in construction, bridges, machinery manufacturing and other fields. It is a steel grade in the Chinese national standard GB T 700-2006, which has good weldability and machinability.

2. Q235A ordinary carbon structural steel plate is a kind of steel material. Q represents the yield limit of this material, and the subsequent 235 refers to the yield value of this material, which is about 235MPa.

It is composed of Q + number + quality grade symbol + deoxidation method symbol. Its steel number is crowned with "Q", which represents the yield point of the steel, and the following number indicates the yield point value, and the unit is MPa, for example, Q235 represents the yield stress (S) of carbon structural steel with 235MPa.

3. The chemical composition of Q235A steel plate includes carbon (C), silicon (Si), manganese (MN), phosphorus (P), sulfur (S) and other elements. Its chemical composition is as follows:

Carbon (c) content: less than or equal to 022%

Silicon (Si) content: less than or equal to 035%

Manganese (Mn) content: less than or equal to 14%

Phosphorus (P) content: less than or equal to 0045%

Sulfur (S) content: less than or equal to 0050%

The content control of these elements makes Q235A steel plate have good weldability and machinability.

4. Q235A has good toughness and plasticity, certain elongation, good welding performance and hot workability. Q235A is generally used in the hot rolled state, rolled section steel, steel bar, steel plate and steel pipe can be used to manufacture various welded structural parts, bridges and some common mechanical parts, such as bolts, tie rods, rivets, collars and connecting rods.
