What do you shoot with the black light?
Answer: Shoot star tracks.
A star orbit is not an ordinary orbit, it is the trajectory of the stars in the sky. Everyone in the circle knows that shooting star tracks is an unavoidable thing.
Du Zhiguang has recently become famous for shooting star tracks, and he loves photography when he is less than sixty. After retirement, I can't find anyone, so I must have gone to shoot star tracks in various places. In the past, you had to go to the wilderness and the top of the mountains to get a satisfactory picture. Why so much toss? That's because you have to find a place with a clear atmosphere and high visibility.
But in recent years, the star track has become popular in the photography circle of Beijing, and the National Center for the Performing Arts, the Forbidden City Noon Gate, Shougang Park, and Houhai ......Du Zhiguang didn't join in the fun with the six districts of the city, he aimed the camera at the sub-center.
In November last year, on the eve of the opening of the three major cultural buildings, Lao Du came to take pictures of the night scene. As soon as you look up, good guys, the sky is like a wash, and the stars are shining. He quickly set up his tripod, secured the camera, and pressed the shutter.
Soon, Lao Du was photographing the star track at the door of his home, and in the photography circle, it was like "Sun Bin took a car - walking away." Subsequently, a wave of people came to Zhangjiawan Ancient Town, Tongyun Bridge, Grand Canal Forest Park, and Jiahoutuan Village in Tongzhou, which was called an unwilling queen.
In the past, I wanted to shoot star tracks in the sub-center, which was "catching ghosts during the day - no shadows". Ma Wenxiao, chairman of the Tongzhou District Photographers Association, used to be a journalist and a famous aerial photographer. At that time in 2019, he took a photo with the plane, and when he passed Zhangjiawan, he could still smell the smell of chemical fuel in mid-air!
Since the upgrading of the sub-center, the functional positioning of Tongzhou has become clearer and clearer, and the large and small factories have been vacated and moved out, and the old yellow calendar has turned a page. From the perspective of geographical characteristics, Tongzhou is located in the southeast of Beijing and the terrain is high in the north and low in the south, the diffusion conditions are unfavorable, the construction of the sub-center continues to maintain an annual investment intensity of 100 billion yuan, hundreds of projects under construction are in full swing and accelerated, thousands of muck trucks and tens of thousands of non-road mobile machinery are operating on the whole line, and the regional rigid emissions continue to be high.
On this condition, it is necessary to "Beijing Blue", which is "morning glory on the paper bridge - it is even more difficult". The sky is not strong, and people work hard. Hundreds of measures for the sub-center to "strive for the blue sky", from the initial engineering emission reduction, to the later fine treatment like embroidery, to the joint prevention and control of pollution with surrounding provinces, autonomous regions and municipalities, and then to the high-standard formulation of the "zero-waste city" construction plan during the "14th Five-Year Plan" period, refinement of 7 categories and 76 specific tasks, to build a "zero-waste city" construction index system ......In the past ten years, the number of days with good air quality in the sub-center has increased from 138 days to 272 days, an increase of 134 good days in ten years, and the number of heavily polluted days has dropped from 81 days to 3 days.
Nowadays, by the Grand Canal in the early morning, people who run and walk in the morning are in groups, and they don't forget to take pictures of the beautiful scenery around them after the exercise, and they have to share it with the circle of friends: look at the day of today's sub-center, and look at the great changes in the past ten years!
Picking up the bowl of rice of ecology is not just as simple as "translucent sky", and the country also has deep-seated arrangements. For Tongzhou, the state is not stingy, put it in the basket of climate change investment and financing pilot and the creation of a national green finance reform and innovation demonstration zone, and the sub-center has been successfully approved as the country's first batch of climate investment and financing pilot cities, with 146 projects in storage. During the period, we will take green buildings, green transportation, sponge cities and other fields as breakthroughs to guide financial institutions to carry out investment and financing activities for climate-friendly projects. The balance of green credit in the region is nearly 27 billion yuan, accounting for more than 10% of the region's loans, supporting the construction of climate projects.
I didn't expect that "Green" could be played at such a high level.
The second time
Embroidery work underwater forest clear water around the city
Some people look up at the stars, others admire the sea. Wang Zilong is the head of the water environment section of the North Canal Management Office, and every year, he has a difficult task: to "afforest" underwater.
The sub-center is based on water, which is inseparable from the surging source water. After the flood season in 2021, water sources from Miyun Reservoir, Guanting Reservoir, and the middle line of the South-to-North Water Diversion Project have been continuously replenished to the three major water systems of Chaobai River, North Canal, and Yongding River, and the river water source has become abundant. Cross-regional water diversion and water replenishment input "kinetic energy" for the sub-center.
Silver carp, bighead carp and other fish fry are alive and pouring down, swimming into the North Canal to inhabit and reproduce, by filtering phytoplankton and animals in the water body, controlling the overgrowth of algae, and rapidly reconstructing the underwater ecosystem.
Early spring, when the water temperature is low, is the first period for the growth of the fry, and the release effect is best at this time. Ecologically, different fish species have different ecological locations, for example, silver carp and bighead carp are typical filter-feeding fish, usually located in the middle layer of the water body; Crucian carp is an omnivorous fish located in the lower layers of the water column and can feed on some plant detritus and zooplankton. Inputs from these fish species can improve the structure of biological populations and maintain the biodiversity of aquatic ecosystems.
Let me tell you that only in the waterfront area at the confluence of the five rivers, there are 15 species of aquatic plants planted around the 460,000 square meters of open water, and after the improvement of the ecological water environment, there are 13 species of fish breeding and 15 species of water birds that attract water. The North Canal has changed from a stinky ditch that citizens avoided in the past to an ecological river where people walk along the river today.
This is an underwater forest, an underwater museum. The water department will also study the addition of new fish species, such as mackerel, which lives in the middle and lower layers and feeds mainly on sessile algae, organic detritus, and is highly filter-feeding, which can reduce algal aggregates on the river surface.
In the past two years, "underwater forests" have been built in large and small rivers of the sub-center, forming a complete and stable ecosystem by building submerged plant communities and enriching aquatic animal species. You just say it's not great.
The show has just begun. At the foot of the administrative office area is the ecological water world created by the Jinghe River. Someone asked, how quiet is the mirror river? Actually, it's bustling here! Among the 425 rivers in Beijing, the Jing River is the youngest, with its banks less than 200 meters away from the Haojiafu subway station, flowing from north to south, forming a lake in the south. At the beginning of spring, two yellow orioles sang green willows, a line of egrets went to the blue sky, and frogs under the lotus leaves sounded. Walking to the lake, on the open water, the crested head with "pigtails" swam in.
The Jinghe River was originally just a lifeless flood drainage ditch, which can be said to be "shotguns for guns" in recent years. Through the transformation, water storage and the construction of nearly 50,000 square meters of "underwater forest", complex habitats such as deep pools, shallow bays, rapids and slow streams have been created, providing better living conditions for aquatic animals and plants, and the self-purification capacity of water bodies is getting stronger and stronger.
Then someone asked, whether the water environment is good or not, you have the final say? Then let's talk about the protagonist in the water, the four-cornered carved leaf ling, which was discovered during the biodiversity survey of the North Canal, Jinghe River and other waters. The wild resources of the four-cornered leaf water chestnut are scarce, and it is designated as a national second-class key protected wild plant in the "List of National Key Protected Wild Plants" published in China in 2021. This "indicator" of the ecological environment, which can grow in small populations and lush vines in the waters of the North Canal and Jinghe, can always explain the problem!
The sub-center is rich in water, but it can't stand being in the "lower part of the nine rivers", and the task of sewage treatment is quite heavy, and the water source of the ecological river is aimed at reclaimed water. In the middle of the sub-center, the Yudai River meanders through, surrounded by a quiet plant area, which is the largest reclaimed water plant in the region - Bishui Reclaimed Water Plant, which undertakes 84% of the sewage treatment tasks of the sub-center. Domestic sewage to the plant "stroll" around, less than 24 hours into 180,000 tons of clear reclaimed water, is the city green heart forest park, Universal Studios, Yudai River, municipal greening, road watering, as well as the administrative office area, Hebei Sanhe Power Plant stable supply water source.
Today, after the upgrading of "clear water", the underground is the factory area, the ground is a park and an ecological lake, and the daily sewage treatment peak is 2120,000 tons, double the original, but save two-thirds of the land. The Ministry of Ecology and Environment (MEE) has also not hesitated to include the Bishui Water Reclamation Plant in the "2023 Typical Cases of Synergy in China's Pollution Reduction and Carbon Reduction" at the 28th United Nations Climate Change Conference.
The integration of water control requires the cooperation of upstream and downstream, which has to mention another person. Xu Hao, the first batch of cadre representatives sent by the Beijing Tongzhou District Ecological Environment Bureau to Dachang County, Langfang City, Hebei Province, is the first person to "eat crabs" to break the institutional obstacles of the linkage between the two places.
In the Chaobai River area at the junction, the two places have established a cooperation mechanism to carry out joint law enforcement actions on a regular basis, inspect and cover the surrounding sewage treatment plants, production enterprises and sewage outlets in an all-round way, clarify the supervision responsibilities of the border areas such as the left and right banks of the Chaobai River, and use point law enforcement and drones to improve efficiency, solve the regulatory problems in the border area, and form a long-term mechanism for the two places to implement joint law enforcement every quarter. In addition, the two places monitor the water quality of the Wucun section of the Chaobai River on a monthly basis and implement data exchange and sharing.

Nowadays, the "basin of water" in the sub-center is becoming more and more abundant and cleaner. The quality of the water environment has undergone a turning point, and the water quality of the national and municipal control assessment sections has been improved by leaps and bounds from inferior to class-like water quality.
The third time
Dreams come true, birds fly, and all things are born in the environment
The forest enters the city, the water is finely controlled, and the next step is not a collection of birds and phoenixes and beasts.
The Great Bustard, a national first-class protected animal, has fewer than 2,000 in China. They prefer wide fields when they overwinter, are timid and easily frightened, and have a hard time finding suitable habitats. But guess what? Such a difficult "master" to serve, for 8 consecutive years, the sub-center has "returned to the door", from the original "single-handed" to "family of three".
In Shuinan Village, Taihu Town, in addition to the Great Bustard, at the end of October every year, there are more than a dozen long-eared owls that form a wintering population and fly from the north. They forage in the wastelands and inhabit tall wooded areas until May of the following year. Rare bird species such as gray goose, whooper swan, whooper swan, shelduck, shelduck, and flower-faced duck also form multiple populations in many areas of the sub-center.
Look at these two numbers. According to the annual report on bird monitoring in key areas of Tongzhou released by the Bird Lovers, up to now, 372 species of wild birds have been recorded in Tongzhou District, and 27 species of "rare guests" such as spot-backed big-tailed warblers, black eagles and small curlews have been included in the list of birds in the sub-center.
Wild birds are an ecological barometer, and environmental improvement is the basis for the increase in birds. A large number of green spaces, such as the Grand Canal Forest Park, the Urban Green Heart Forest Park, Zhangjiawan Park, and the Majuqiao Wetland, have become a paradise for wading birds; Between these parks, some woodlands, farmlands, and wastelands have formed many bird paradises, and the seeds scattered after harvesting have become the favorite food of many birds.
Not only did the sky fly landing, but the ground runner also appeared. At the end of last year, Qi Chunhong, a member of the Bird Coordination Team, photographed the long-lost ocelot in Tongzhou on the frozen water surface of the Chaobai River during a routine waterbird synchronization survey in Lucheng Pharmaceutical Art Park.
In recent years, the sub-center forest base has gradually formed, refreshing the "report card" of biodiversity, the urban ecology has continued to recover, and more and more wild animals have chosen this place to recuperate, and have been searching for traces from generation to generation.
The surprises are not over.
