During China's Three Kingdoms period, the five heroic generals of Shu Han, Guan Yu, Zhang Fei, Zhao Yun, Ma Chao and Huang Zhong, were known as the Five Tiger Generals. They followed Liu Bei and went through several fierce battles and made great achievements for the establishment of Shu Han. Guan Yu, the all-rounder among the five tiger generals, is both wise and brave. His military prowess was terrifying to his enemies, and he was able to defend himself against thousands of troops. Zhang Fei is as brave as a tiger, and no one is invincible on the battlefield. He has defeated Cao Wei's famous general Zhang He many times, and he also has a strategy, as evidenced by deeds such as outwitting Wakou Pass.
Zhao Yun, the guardian of Shu Han, is loyal and brave. He followed Liu Bei for nearly thirty years, whether it was the Battle of Bowangpo, the Battle of Changbanpo or the Battle of Hanshui, he performed extremely well. After Guan Yu and Zhang Fei were killed, he advised Liu Bei not to attack Wu, showing far-reaching vision. Later generations praised him as a perfect man and was known as a victorious general.
Ma Chao, brave and good at fighting, powerful Tongguan. After he defected to Liu Bei, he helped him capture Yizhou and made great achievements in the Battle of Hanzhong. His martial arts terrified his enemies.
Huang Zhong, old and strong, bravely crowned the three armies. He followed Liu Bei into Sichuan, and he must be the first to enter the battle in every battle, and he bravely and resolutely defeated the three armies. In the Battle of Dingjun Mountain, he beheaded Cao Cao's famous general Xiahou Yuan and was named the general of Zhengxi.
These five tiger generals have left a strong mark in the long river of history. Their respective endings are as follows: Guan Yu was defeated in Maicheng after losing the Battle of Xiangfan, was ambushed by Pan Zhang's general Ma Zhong and captured alive, and was later killed at the age of 59; Zhang Fei was killed by his subordinate generals Zhang Da and Fan Qiang when Liu Bei attacked Wu to avenge Guan Yu in 221 AD, and took his head to Sun Quan at the age of 55; Ma Chao died of illness at the age of 47 after Liu Bei became emperor in 221 AD; Huang Zhong died of illness in Chengdu in 219 A.D. when Liu Bei called the queen of Hanzhong at the age of 73; Zhao Yun was relocated to the general of Zhendong after Liu Chan succeeded to the throne and was named the Marquis of Yongchang Pavilion, and died of illness in Chengdu in 229 AD at the age of 76. The legend of the Five Tiger Generals is still talked about today. They have forged a glorious chapter in history with their lives and blood, and have become eternal heroic legends.
