In order to deeply learn the lessons of the fire accident in residential buildings in Yuhuatai District, Nanjing City, and resolutely prevent the occurrence of similar fire accidents, on February 24, the Qingpu District Fire and Rescue Detachment issued the "Notice on Immediately Carrying out a Special Investigation of the Fire Safety of the "Overhead Layer" of Residential Buildings through the platform of the District Fire Protection Committee, and carried out a comprehensive investigation of the setting of the overhead layer in residential buildings throughout the district. At the same time, all the personnel of the fire prevention line of the detachment went to various streets and towns to guide and carry out special investigation work.

At 4:39 on February 23, 2024, the command center of the Nanjing Fire and Rescue Detachment in Jiangsu Province received an alarm that a fire broke out in Building 6, Mingshang Xiyuan, Yuhuatai District, Nanjing City. The detachment dispatched more than 20 fire trucks to the scene to deal with it, and the fire was extinguished at about 6 o'clock.
