In recent years, Lipu County has vigorously developed the Chinese herbal medicine industry, and has successively cooperated with the Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences, Hunan Agricultural University, Hunan University of Traditional Chinese Medicine, Hunan Medical College, Provincial Academy of Agricultural Sciences, Provincial Academy of Forestry and other scientific research institutes to do the deep processing of honeysuckle products, high-standard planning and construction of modern Chinese medicine biological industrial park, supporting the construction of 1,000 tons of Chinese herbal medicine storage project, and building China (Lipu Longtan) honeysuckle distribution and trading center.
