5. Test items and requirements.

.Mechanical and physical property testing: Toys are required to remain intact and not cause harm to children if they are subjected to normal use and foreseeable abuse. For example, the edges and protrusions of toys should not be too sharp or sharp so as not to scratch children.

.Chemical composition testing: Materials and coatings used in toys are required to be free of chemicals that are harmful to humans and that they do not release harmful substances under normal use and foreseeable abuse. For example, the coating of toys must not contain harmful substances such as heavy metals such as lead and mercury.

.Flammability test: Toys are required not to burn quickly or produce large amounts of toxic smoke when attacked by a flame or heat source to avoid hazards such as fire and burns. For example, cloth and plastic parts of toys need to be tested for flame retardancy.

.Electrical safety testing: Electrical equipment in toys is required to comply with the requirements of electrical safety regulations to avoid hazards such as electric shock. For example, the power plug of the toy must comply with local electrical safety standards.

.Labels and instructions: It is required that the labels and instructions of toys must contain necessary information, such as the name of the manufacturer, product name, warnings, etc., so that consumers can properly use and maintain the toy.

.Durability and weather resistance testing: Toys are required to maintain their original performance and structural integrity after a certain period of normal use, so as to avoid potential safety hazards caused by damage or aging of components. Outdoor toys, for example, need to be weather-tested to ensure their performance in different climates.
