Fast Technology reported on January 10 that according to the official of Nine Company, at the CES 2024 exhibition site, it brought a new generation of intelligent lawn mowing robots.
As early as 2021, Weilan Continental, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Nine Company, independently developed the world's first ultra-quiet and borderless intelligent lawn mower robot, Segway N**IMOW H series products, which have been sold in more than 30 countries around the world and become the first buried mower brand with 30,000+ user activations.
Compared with the previous generation of products, the new generation of borderless Segway intelligent lawn mower Segway N**IMOW I series products launched this time not only has a comprehensive upgrade in product performance, but also has a higher overall cost performance, and is the first intelligent lawn mower for more consumers.
The n**imow i series has been comprehensively upgraded in terms of positioning technology and intelligent functions, allowing users to mow the grass more easily and efficiently.
According to reports, the N**IMOW i series products use a new self-developed RTK and visual assistance combination positioning system to provide centimeter-level high-precision positioning.
The vision system composed of customized RTK and 140° field of view camera is deeply integrated, which can perceive the space in an all-round way and accurately map to cope with more and more complex lawn structures and meet the mowing needs of more users.
In terms of intelligence, the n**imow i has upgraded with a new AI assistant mapping, which can more intelligently identify the edge of the lawn, and can also automatically navigate and map the entire work area.
In addition, users can also zone the lawn and create a mowing plan for each area, and the n**imow i will mow the grass according to the schedule, even if the work is out of power, the product can be intelligently recharged until the mowing plan is completed, so as to meet the user's personalized mowing needs.
And unlike most of the existing lawn mowing robots on the market, n**imow uses a more beautiful and clear "bow" mowing mode, which can ensure that every inch of grass is covered at different angles to achieve 100% coverage.
It is worth mentioning that this time, the N**IMOW i series series has added a straddle mode, which optimizes the problem that the grass cannot be cut at the edge of the lawn.
The relevant person in charge of the company said that the N**IMOW i series products will be sold to global consumers in North America and Europe in the spring of 2024, hoping to bring intelligent lawn mower robots into more families around the world.
