As the Spring Festival is getting closer and closer, the news in the WeChat group has become lively. After a lively discussion, our group of old classmates finally finalized the time and place of the dinner. On the evening of the third day of the Lunar New Year, we will gather in a quaint Chinese restaurant in the heart of the city to celebrate this festival full of joy and reunion.
On the appointed day, I arrived at the restaurant early. There are red lanterns hanging at the door, pasted with festive couplets, revealing a strong New Year's flavor. Pushing open the door, I was greeted by the smell of food and the familiar laughter. The students have arrived one after another, and they are sitting around a large round table, chatting and laughing.
The table is filled with a variety of dishes, ranging from traditional fish, dumplings, and spring rolls, to everyone's favorite barbecue, hot pot, and other delicacies. The waiters at the restaurant were busy adding food to our tables, making sure everyone was well-fed.
I joined the lively crowd and hugged and high-fived everyone to exchange New Year's wishes. After sitting down, I saw a lot of new faces - some classmates brought their families, some even brought children, which made the party more warm and interesting.
At the dinner table, we drank "Bancheng and Shunshu" and took turns sharing our experiences from the past year and our New Year's wishes. Some talk about accomplishments at work, others share anecdotes about travel, and others talk about family life. From time to time, bursts of laughter erupted, as if returning to that carefree school time.
After the meal, we took out our mobile phones, posed, and took group photos. These ** freeze our smiles and record the strong friendship between us.
