The guy I attended the summer camp with was really amazing, he was a top student who graduated from Sichuan and the United States, and the two of us went to Beijing from other places to participate in this kind of activity in person, so we happily decided to stay in a room in a hotel.

During that time, he really got up earlier than a chicken and went to bed later than a dog to learn all kinds of new skills, and whenever I couldn't stand the modeling process of the model and just wanted to lie in bed and rest, he would turn back to me and say, "Don't you feel anxious at all?" ”

At first, I really didn't understand what he meant, and I didn't have anything to worry about. Now that I think about it, it turns out that I don't know how to be anxious, it's just that I was full of rush at that time, and I left anxiety behind.

That summer, I was very busy, participating in various winter and summer camp competitions every day, desperately absorbing new knowledge like a sponge, and constantly practicing my design thinking skills. When the portfolio project got better and better, I realized that I was so happy and satisfied.

This is me, Hu, a student of H·Art Class 23, who has participated in many winter and summer camp competitions.

At that time, I was an undergraduate student majoring in industrial design at a top university in China, and then I managed to win a master's degree in design products from the Royal College of Art in the United Kingdom. There are also offers for a master's degree in industrial design from Loughborough University, and an offer from Brunel University for a master's degree in industrial design, which is also a specialization in industrial design.

About participating in the winter camp and receiving awards.

I think I'm lucky that the two times I've been to the camp, I've met amazing teammates. I remember the first time I tried to participate in the offline background improvement activity, that is, the winter camp, the first day of the camp training officially started, everyone on the scene was unfamiliar with each other, the teachers arranged for everyone to stand up and walk around and communicate with each other in order to let everyone communicate better.

I was very shy at the time, and I didn't know what to do about this situation, so I could only sit silently in the corner and remain motionless, even when the teacher came to urge me to move.

Maybe it's really fate, when I raised my eyes and saw the four people next to me who also looked helpless, and they all didn't seem to know what to do, I suddenly remembered that several of us were studying industrial design, and we naturally formed a team.

As the first time for the five of us to participate in this form of competition, we were short on time, and at first we spent so much time deciding on the topic that everyone started to get anxious. We started with kitchen utensils, all the way to sustainable materials, and eliminated several options before and after, until this time a friend from Kawami proposed a project he had participated in before, which was rejected by the school instructor on the spot, and the initial idea was that multiple monolithic maze toys could be combined to form a triangular pyramid maze, so as to improve the fun of the whole game.

Of course, I am also one of the students who are fortunate to participate in the planning, we, including me, the students who study industrial design, after repeated discussions and revisions, finally won the national finals of Milan Design Week, the national finals of the 2023 NCDA Future Designer Competition, IDA Toys, Games and Leisure - It has won a series of awards on important occasions such as the Educational Toys Award Ceremony and the Beijing Division of Milan Design Week. Here, I would like to thank my team once again for your company, which has made me feel the power of camaraderie while achieving results.
