If the passenger paid online but did not install the Railway 12306 APP, he or she can use the "Convenient Refund" function of the railway to apply for a refund. Railway 12306 will send a text message to the mobile phone number reserved by the passenger at the time of ticket purchase, and the passenger can click the refund link in the text message to jump to the "Convenient Refund" page to apply for a refund.

A convenient refund page opened by SMS link can be handled without logging in. It should be noted that if you use the railway 12306 app, it is a "quick refund".

Passengers who purchase tickets through cash payment can apply for a refund through the railway 12306 APP or ** in advance, and go to the designated window of the station to collect the money with the passenger's valid ID card within 180 days from the date of successful online refund.

If the passenger does not apply for a refund through the railway 12306 APP or ** in advance, he or she needs to go directly to the ticket window of the station to go through the refund procedures within 30 days after the date of the ticket departure with the passenger's original ID card (passengers who have printed the reimbursement voucher need to bring the reimbursement voucher).

It should be noted that the reimbursement voucher can only be collected once, and the station will not be able to handle the refund procedure if it is lost, defaced, or the ticket is incomplete.
