The heart is restless, the breath is rapid and uneven, disturbing the body and mind can not get a moment of peace, and the "heart breath" is also known as the "dragon and tiger" in the Danjing. God has no shadow, qi is formless, so God is invisible, and it is placed in the heart; You can't get it, so you can ask for it. The spirit dwells in the heart, and the heart breath is the abode of the spirit. Therefore, "Xinqi" is "Shenqi", "Shenqi" is "Dragon Tiger", and "Dragon Tiger" is also "Xinqi".
The so-called "dragon nature is lingering, tiger nature is hideous", which is just a metaphor for the restlessness of the "heart".
The so-called "subduing the dragon and subduing the tiger" is to subdue the "breath of the heart", and its trick is nothing more than "the rest of the heart is interdependent", then the body and mind are pure and not restless!
Xu Songyao said in "Tianle Collection": "Descending the dragon is lowering the interest rate, and the tiger is the subduing qi, and the magic lies in the interdependence ......of the heart and mind outside the body."Therefore, those who are dependent on each other will descend the dragon and subdue the tiger; Those who set the vacuum, the gradual stage of subduing the dragon and subduing the tiger; The nature is cheerful, and the dragon and tiger are nowhere to be seen, which is the ultimate in descending the dragon and subduing the tiger" ("Tianle Collection: Descending the Dragon and the Tiger").
It is said that those who "drive the dragon and the tiger" are dependent on the "heart" and the "rest". The tiger (breath) is ruthless, and the dragon (heart) is intentional, and it is legal to use the affectionate and intentional "heart" to take the initiative to intersect with the ruthless and unintentional "breath".
As Weng Baoguang said in the "Commentary on the Enlightenment of the Truth": "If a person who cultivates Dan wants to cherish the dragon's breath with a tiger, he must pioneer the dragon and the tiger, and then the two things are mixed, the two feelings are combined, and the essence of the true one is naturally condensed."
Song Xue Daoguang said in "Returning Dan to Restore Life": "In the past, when you met the teacher's own formula, as long as you concentrate on the air pocket; Refining the gas and gasifying the gods, refining the yellow buds and white snow".
Concentrate on the air pocket", that is, the work of "heart and soul".
"Concentrating" is "heart"; "Air pockets" are the "breath" (or "true breath"). Shen (Xin)" takes "Qi (Xi)" as the "acupoint" and the hole dwells in the middle of the ear (this "acupoint" does not refer to the acupuncture point of Chinese medicine and acupuncture), that is, the "qi" is the "acupoint" and the "god" is condensed.
Zhang Sanfeng said in "Tao Yan Shallow Sayings": "Those who have air pockets, the gods (hearts) enter the qi (breath), if they are in the deep holes, the gods and qi are in love (the hearts and breaths depend on each other), then the body of the entrance has been established".

If it is covered in the void (the void outside the body), then there is internal breath. Therefore the love of God dwells, and God stays according to the rest. If you survive or die, you don't know that God is resting, and breathing is God (this is "the heart is interdependent, and the spirit is one"). The wind (breath) gets the fire (heart) and fantates, the fire gets the wind and burns, and the relationship is interrelated, and I don't know that the wind is the fire, and the fire is the wind (also for "the heart is interdependent, the spirit is one", the so-called "wind and fire are the same work" in the Danshu, it is not enough to say that this realm is not enough). Wang Dongting also said: "Those who depend on each other, the heart depends on the rest, and the rest also depends on the heart." But the heaviest of them is ...... the word 'and'Gai' and 'not separate', 'in' and 'in', 'in' and 'and', 'in' and '' are one, which is called 'Huang Po'. Huang Po reconciles, then naturally love each other, swallow and vomit, continue, do not forget not to help. Lao Tzu said: 'Single-minded and soft, can be like a baby'. The true 'and' is also the best. When it comes to reality, it is always the spirit that does not depart from the spirit, and the breath does not leave the spirit, that is, the heart does not depart from the breath, and the breath does not detach from the heart. It is necessary to know (mind) that the two are one, and then there will be creation. Covering the two in one, it is the restoration of two rites and one Taiji, which is called the double cultivation of life."

It is the beginning of the qi to break through the flood, silent and immovable, and the feeling is passed. A monk is a man of the Path, but he is also promising" ("The Heart Speaks Directly").
Wang Dongting, a person from Tizhen Mountain, said: "Danshu said that there is no one who depends on each other. At first, you need to know the entry and exit of the slight breath, and the melodious in the void outside is like a swimming dragon. After a while, you can let go and let go of it. If there are distracting thoughts, then the heart depends on each other, and then the heart is put down, and the heart will naturally be calm and have the effect of harmony. If you don't know how to let go (mind), you often make it to chase the rest with your heart, and it will be bad" ("Quotations from the Body of the True Shanren").

Li Daochun also said in "Zhonghe Collection": "A husband and a woman are determined to have a relationship, and three men and three women have no place" ("Hug a Song").
Another poem says: "A woman and a husband can work, and three men and three women form a group; The world inside is big, and the void outside is not wide" ("Shu Kung Fu").
Xu Songyao's explanation in "Tianle Collection" is the most profound, saying: "The heart and the breath go hand in hand, the Luan and the phoenix are harmonious, the natural couple, and the man is not wide-clothed, the woman is not untied, the respect is like a god, and the love is like a child."
And he said, "The breath of the heart is a natural spouse, not a contrived one." Xuanzong is in harmony with his heart, his spirit is blended, and the gold and wood are combined, that is, he is even and harmonious."

That is, the eyes look at themselves, and the eyes only look inward and not outward. Those who do not look out and look at it are inward, that is, they look inward, and they do not really look inside. What is listening? That is, the slap listens to oneself, and the ear only listens inside and not outside. listener, listen to it silently; Those who see see it as invisible. If the eyes do not look outward, and the ears do not hear outside, they will close and want to run inward. However, if you look and listen inward, you will neither be outward, nor inward, and not drowsy. This is the sun and the moon, and the one who intersects with light."
Intention to keep and take care of the inner light is easy to cling to the form, that is, it is illegal to do it (the intention to keep and the inner light is the way to learn, and it is advisable to use the idea slightly and moderately.) The initial intention is slightly stronger, and the lighter the intention after proficiency, the better, until the idea is forgotten, then the "true meaning" is born, and the recipe is "the wonder of nature, save first and then forget". The best part is the trick of "listening."
Lu Zu said: "Be attentive to the breath, and the breath will come in and out, and you should not let the ears hear, but listen to it silently." As soon as there is a sound, it is coarse and superficial but not detailed. When patience, gently and slightly, the more and more slight, the more subtle and quiet, and the slighter and quieter after a long time, suddenly the slightest is broken".

In a trance, as for the darkness, suddenly the heavens suddenly appeared, the internal and external senses were connected, there was a scene of "a yang coming and going", "a congenital qi came from nothingness", which was for the "yang sheng medicine", also known as "the living son of yang".
Nine outside the body and gold and wood are combined for the "Qiankun Jiao", and the body is seven times and the water and fire are both for the "Kan Separation", two heaven and earth, four yin and yang roles (Lu Zu's "Finger Xuan Chapter": "Who can match the two heaven and earth, four yin and yang I will row", Li Daochun's "Neutralization Collection": "Stepping through the two news, transcendent and holy is idle". The inside and outside are one, the other and I are the same, Wu Ji Cheng Gui, the five elements and the four elephants gather in the middle palace, Dan does not knot and self-knot, and the leakage does not make up for itself. Replenish the body and take over the life, and return the Dan to the Dan, all of which are completed in the "big vacuum".
Dading vacuum" in "Lao Tzu" said: "to the void, keep quiet", like a door, just see if you can walk in, otherwise you will end up a "layman", has not yet touched the lintel, it is not enough to say "alchemy".
Therefore, it is said that "to the extreme, to keep quiet" ("Dading vacuum") is an "iron threshold" in the practice of Neidan, have you ever crossed it? This is not only the exclusive patent of the Western Pai Dan Method, but also the common general program of the various schools of the Dan Method, all kinds of Dharma effects and effects are in the "Great Vacuum", if it has not reached the true level, there is no qualification to hear the high-level Dharma, so all the Dan Dharma attaches great importance to this.
