At that time, the bitter cold wind wrapped in ice particles and rain and snow whipped their cheeks and the backs of their hands, the snow soaked through their shoes and their cashmere socks, and their feet were numb from the cold, but they still gritted their teeth and placed more than 6,000 traffic cones.

In recent years, the Erguang Expressway has successively introduced anti-icing "black technologies" such as vortex 7 wind-blown snow trucks, automatic snow melting agent spreaders, anti-collision buffer vehicles, and anti-icing pavement. The number of manual temperature measurement points has increased to 13, and 3 automatic meteorological monitoring stations have been set up, which can directly upload the data of road surface temperature, air humidity, rainfall and other data of icy road sections to the meteorological monitoring system of the monitoring center, providing a more scientific and comprehensive basis for anti-icing decision-making.

At the beginning of 2022, a vortex 7 snowflake was also dispatched to melt ice and remove snow on the heavily snowed road sections, which effectively ensured the safety and smoothness of the road.
