LANXESS expands distribution agreement for industrial preservatives

PITTSBURGH β€” Lanxess Corp., a chemical companyExpanded distribution partnerships with Lintech International, OMYA Specialty Minerals and DKSH.

The expanded agreement, announced on Feb. 22, covers industrial preservatives in North America.

Mr Lanxess said the agreements "enhanced" the three distributors' offerings in the coatings, adhesives, sealants and elastomers (CASE) markets, as well as other building materials segments.

The agreements went into effect on January 1.

"As the integration of IFF's microbial control business progresses, we are excited to expand our distribution network with these dedicated partners to include our full line of industrial preservatives," said Bill Rohrer, head of U.S. sales for the Lanxess Material Protection Products Industrial business line. ”。The new additions will enable them to successfully provide a more comprehensive solution to meet their customers' industrial protection needs. ”

Lanxess acquired IFF's microbial control unit in July 2022.

Lintech and Omya will add Lanxess' Preventol to their portfolio, which includes Lanxess' Kathon's products.

Lintech is responsible for the southeastern United States up to New England, while Omya is responsible for the Midwest.

DKSH (doing business in the U.S. as Terra Firma) already sells Lanxess industrial preservatives in the western U.S. and will add the acquired IFF microbial control products to its portfolio.

DKSH is also responsible for the Canadian region.

Lanxess' industrial preservatives also include Metasol, Rocima, Bioban, Rozone, Amical, and Kordek.
