I was one of the first people in our community to move in.Due to the early check-in, the staff of the property are also very familiar. I had just finished the renovation and the building manager in charge of our building told meIt's best to pack 7 small accessories before moving
When I got home, I sat down and found that none of them were installed. Looking back now, fortunately, there was a reminder from the building management, otherwise I would have really missed these "treasures".
#01.Pre-filter
The pipes in the new house are too dirty! The building manager said that all new communities are the same: when the house is first handed over, the pipes will be repaired frequently, and some sediment will fall into each repair. Therefore, residents like me who moved in earlier reflect that they are at homeFaucets and showers are often blockedProducts that specifically fight sediment are:Pre-filter, you can buy one for one or two hundred yuan, and it costs 0 to use it later. When the new house is very dependent, it will be less useful after staying for a long time, but it can also deal with some large particles of impurities encountered occasionally.
#02.Water purifiers
There is no running water in the new house. This may be an exception, but it's definitely not uncommon: as far as I know, there are many new communities that have been living in for years without municipal running water. At that time, my community used self-provided well water, which was very hard, and the TDS value was 500+.
ExceptPoor taste and limescaleIn addition, it is not known whether there will be harmful substances such as pesticide residues and bacteria in it. Therefore, for the sake of taste, convenience and health, the building manager recommended that I install a water purifier at home.
At first she also suggested that I buy a water softenerThis protects equipment that needs to be heated, such as water heaters and smart toilets. But a water purifier costs nearly 10,000 yuan, and I really don't want to start it.
#03.Gas alarms
Gas pipelines have not been tested in practice.Theoretically, the acceptance standards for gas pipelines are very high and there are no safety issues. But in the words of the building manager: things that have not been tested in practice are always uneasy.
So she recommended that I install a gas alarm in the kitchen, no wiring, just plug it in and hang it near the gas meter. That's itWhen a gas leak, it will sound an alarm as soon as possible.
In addition, some gas companies will force users to install gas alarms, and if they do not install them, they will not be able to pass the natural gas acceptance. It costs a few hundred yuan to buy an alarm in a gas company, and it only costs a dozen yuan to buy it online.
#04.guardrails
Don't tear down the guardrails at all.The guardrail wasn't new, it was already there, but my decorator suggested I remove it, saying it would affect the lighting. The building manager told me: Although the property does not matter, it is recommended that you install it back.
The guardrail is not kindly installed by the developer, but the national standard ("Unified Standard for Civil Building Design" GB 50352-20192).Mandatoryof: The height of the window sill is less than 0At 9m, it must be made up with a guardrail.
The bay windows are not high enough, and there will definitely be guardrails.
To put it bluntly, guardrails are devices that keep us safe. The windows just look sturdy, and if something goes wrong, you can't regret it. Worried that the quality of the original guardrail is not good, you can replace it with a *** one, but you must not dismantle it.
#05.Overvoltage and undervoltage trippers
The new community loves to burn household appliances. The new neighborhood is easyPower outages, sudden calls after power outages, or even repeated power outages and calls, often burn household appliances. There are also times when the new community transformer is debugged, resulting inThe voltage is too highBurn home appliances.
To prevent this from happening, one can be installed in the distribution box in the homeSelf-resettable over- and under-voltage trippers: When the voltage is too high or too low, it will automatically cut off the power supply. Delay closing after a power outage to avoid repeated power outages.
A word of caution:The over- and under-voltage trippers must be "self-reset", that is, it can automatically close after the voltage returns to normal. Avoid the problem that people can't send electricity after a power outage at home, resulting in refrigerators and other equipment not working.
#06.Lock cylinder
Renovation keys like a joke. All cylinders come with two sets of keys: a decoration key and a master key. But the decoration key is like a joke, to prevent the gentleman but not the villain. When you meet someone who really wants to enter the house, you can easily use the decoration key to match the master key.
So if you really don't feel at ease (especially for users with more luxurious decoration), it's best to change a set of lock cylinders directly: a set of C-grade lock cylinders is only about 200 yuan. Or replace the smart lock directly, which is safe and convenient.
#07.Child-mother router
Whole house wifi is important. After I finished the renovation, the building manager told me: the signal transmitter on your upstairs has not been installed, and the mobile phone may not have a signal recently. I thought to myself that this is over, I can only live on wifi. But I haven't buried the network cable in advance, what can I do? The building manager gave me an idea for someone like me who is a novice in technology and lacks hardware facilities: buy a mother-child router. The mother router is set up like a normal router, and the sub-router is plugged into the sockets in each room.
The child and mother routes can pass through each otherWiresThe network signal is transmitted, so it can be used without burying the network cable in advance. And it can be paired with just one key, and a novice like me can also operate it. It's that simple to implement whole-house wifi!
