Starting from the day of the referee registration of the ski mountaineering competition, the meteorological observatory of the "14th Winter" Zhalantun competition area provides weather real-time products and refined forecast products in the referee working group of the ski mountaineering project every day. "We provide the competition team, the executive committee and the competition working group with weather reports during the competition and 11 kinds of refined forecast products accurate to the key points of the track in the next ten days to the competition team, the executive committee and the competition working group three times a day, and provide the comprehensive support team with the next seven days forecast of Zhalantun urban area. According to real-time monitoring data, the maximum wind speed at the top of the hill at the competition venue at 10:30 on February 1 was 108 meters and a maximum wind speed of 7 at 11:306 m sec, the drop is obvious. This set of weather data tested the accuracy of our forecasts, and also proved that the decision to postpone the race by one hour was scientific and solid. Wang Ying said proudly. In terms of meteorological forecasting technology, the 1 km and 1 hour mesoscale weather numerical prediction system established by the Earth System Numerical Prediction Center of the China Meteorological Administration also played an important role in the meteorological support of the event.
