Love yourself well, everything is a cloud
There was a patient with terminal cancer who wrote this on his deathbed: "I don't regret my past life, I only regret that I didn't love myself well." I always sacrifice myself for the sake of others, give up my dreams for the sake of others' expectations, and ignore my own feelings for the sake of others' evaluations. I think that's responsible, selfless, and mature. However, when I faced death, I realized that I was wrong. I'm missing out on too many opportunities, too much joy, too much freedom. I didn't really live myself, I didn't really love myself. I am just a shadow living in the eyes of others, a shell without a soul. I feel incomparably regretful, incomparably empty, incomparably sad. ”
This passage touched me deeply and made me think about the question: Why should we love ourselves? Why should we cherish ourselves and enjoy life? Why put yourself first, not second, third, or even last? This is a topic I want to share with you, and this is the question I want to share with you.
Life is a journey, and every day is a new beginning and end. We don't know what will happen tomorrow and we can't change what has already happened yesterday. We can only grasp the moment, live in the moment, and feel the moment. Whatever we have been and are now, it is our life's experience and wealth. We should not blame ourselves for the mistakes of the past, nor should we be afraid of the uncertainty of the future. We should accept our own treatment of our present and become our future, so that we can understand how beautiful and precious our life is. We should not waste our time catering to other people's eyes, pursuing other people's standards, and comparing other people's achievements. We should find our own interests, cultivate our own strengths, achieve our own goals, and create our own values. We should do what we like, be with the people we like, feel the emotions we like, and enjoy the life we like. We should have confidence in ourselves, with respect, love, and tenderness. We should think of ourselves as our best friend, our closest companion, and the most important person.
People live in the mood and live in the state of mind. Our mood and mentality determine our lives. If we are always complaining and dissatisfied, our lives will be full of gloom and pain. If we are always grateful and appreciative, our life will be full of sunshine and happiness. If we are always pessimistic and negative, our life will be full of difficulties and setbacks. If we are always optimistic and positive, our lives will be full of opportunities and successes. Our mood and mentality are something we can control, something we can choose, and something we can change. We should remain peaceful and grateful in the hustle and bustle of the world, do not worry and worry about some trivial things, and learn to be content and happy and live without regrets.
Life is not about living for the sake of living, but about realizing one's own values and dreams. We all have our own dreams, whether they are big or small, whether they are far or near, whether they are real or illusory. Our dream is our motivation, our direction, and our meaning. We should have a good attitude, bravely pursue our dreams, defy difficulties and setbacks, and strive to create a wonderful life. We should believe in our own abilities, in our choices, in our efforts, and in our destiny. We should regard every day as a step to realize our dreams, as a time to show value, and as a moment to enjoy life.
In life, we must cherish ourselves, love ourselves, and enjoy life. This is what I want to tell you, and this is what I want to encourage you. I want you to love yourself well and everything is in the clouds. I want you to be able to find your own happiness and not be influenced by others. I hope you will be able to achieve your dreams and defy the difficulties ahead. I hope you can have your own value and live up to the excitement of this life.
There was an old man, at the last moment of his life, who said to himself: "I have no regrets, I only gratitude." I'm grateful that I've met so many people, so many things, so many scenes. I am grateful that I have experienced so many joys and sorrows, so many ups and downs, so many gains and losses. I'm grateful that I have so much love, so much friendship, so much affection. I am grateful that I lived my life, loved myself, and enjoyed life. This sentence touched me and made me admire. What a wonderful life it is, and what a worthy one for us to learn and emulate.
Lao Tzu said: "Heaven and earth are long, so heaven and earth can last for a long time, because they are not self-generated, so they can live forever." "We should do the same, not for ourselves, but for life. We should dedicate our lives to ourselves, to others, to society, and to the world. We should live our lives as a poem, a painting, a movie, and a book. We should turn our existence into a strength, into a light, into a warmth, into a beauty.
