The role of adsorption regeneration dryer in compressed air treatment is to effectively remove moisture from compressed air and ensure high-quality, low-quality dry gas required by back-end gas equipment and processes. The adsorption dryer is a device that uses a solid adsorbent (such as molecular sieve or alumina) to remove moisture from compressed air, and periodically changes the working conditions to achieve adsorbent regeneration and recycling, so as to continuously provide dry compressed air.
As we all know, when the air compressor compresses the atmospheric air to a high pressure state, the concentration of water vapor in the air also increases, and if effective dehumidification treatment is not carried out, these water vapors will condense into liquid water droplets in the pipeline, which may lead to equipment corrosion, pipeline blockage, and may also have a serious impact on precision instruments, pneumatic components and product quality. Therefore, it is necessary to play the role of adsorption regeneration dryer at this time.
In the adsorption stage, when the compressed air passes through the column filled with adsorbent, the water is firmly adsorbed by the adsorbent, and the purified dry air flows to the user. As the adsorption process continues, the adsorbent gradually reaches saturation.
The regeneration stage of the adsorption regeneration dryer is very important in the work cycle, which uses the heat generated by the decompression expansion of part of the dried compressed air (such as compression heat regeneration) or external energy heating (such as micro heat regeneration), so that the adsorbent in the adsorption tower releases the adsorbed water and discharges it out of the system through the regeneration gas flow. In this way, the adsorbent is able to regain its original moisture absorption capacity and move on to the next cycle of adsorption.
The adsorption regeneration dryer effectively removes the moisture in the compressed air through the principle of pressure swing adsorption and the regeneration mechanism, providing dry and pure compressed air for production and meeting the requirements of the production process.
