Recently, the VR sports game "Racket Club" released a free update, adding unranked matches, a new points system, and more.
It is reported that "Racket Club" is a VR sports game developed by Swedish game company Resolution Games, allowing players from all over the world to compete against each other in a new virtual sport designed for VR headsets. The game combines the features of "small court tennis + squash" and will be available in 1vv2 and single-player career modes at launch.
The game launched last November and recently released its first major update, "A New Spin", adding unranked matches, new singles drills in training mode, and player stats for tracking progress. The new points system allows players to choose a la carte rally or stick to the current Super Rally method, where longer rally races can earn up to 5 points, with additional avatar decorations also available.
Mathieu Castelli, Chief Commercial Officer at Resolution Games, said: "When we made a new racquet sport, we knew that players who were ultimately very good at the sport would want to try it. Just as basketball fans have been able to create their own variations over the years – from 3-on-3 to H-O-R-S-E – we want to give racquet club players the same flexibility to iterate on what we've built for a whole new racquet sport. ”
