"I heard from my mother that when I was hospitalized when I was 8 years old, I cried day and night because of the inflammation of the wound, and the crying affected the rest of an uncle in the next ward, but after the uncle and his family understood the situation, they did not blame me but sent me condolences and a lot of snacks. Wang Nana told reporters. In 2008, she felt discomfort in her ears, and her family took her to the otolaryngology department of Qingtongxia Aluminum Factory Hospital for examination, and found that there was a foreign body in her ear, which needed to be surgically removed. When she was in the hospital, a female doctor was very distressed when she saw that Wang Nana, who was young and had lost a leg, and was crying because of a minor operation. Seeing that Wang Nana could not fit the prosthesis due to the bone hyperplasia of the residual limb, the female doctor immediately helped Wang Nana perform the first osteotomy and contacted the prosthetic factory to install the prosthesis. Wang Nana said: "I will always remember the help this aunt gave me, it was her appearance that made me stand up again, and gave me the confidence and courage to live." After being fitted with a prosthetic leg, Wang Nana was able to return to school. She cherishes the hard-won opportunity to go to school, studies hard and works hard, no matter the wind or rain, she can't stop her from going to school. During high school, Wang Nana had a second osteotomy, which was paid for by an unnamed elderly man in Shanghai. Wang Nana said that over the years, she has always remembered the help of this unnamed old man, and she is especially grateful for the old man's helping hand in her most difficult time.

In 2019, Wang Nana was admitted to Ningxia Vocational and Technical College of Finance and Economics majoring in e-commerce technology. After learning about Wang Nana's situation, the person in charge of the college specially arranged her and her good friend in a dormitory to facilitate her care, and also changed a bunk bed for her. During her time at the school, Wang Nana was also impressed by the department secretary and counselor teachers, who often came to visit Wang Nana in the dormitory and bought some daily necessities and snacks such as milk for her.

Wang Nana said: "I know that I have inconvenient legs, and if I want to find a job, I must constantly improve my education. In 2022, Wang Nana carefully reviewed and signed up for the college entrance examination, and was successfully admitted to Yinchuan University of Science and Technology and became an undergraduate. During her study at Yinchuan Institute of Science and Technology, after learning about her specific situation, the college arranged a barrier-free dormitory for her, and issued a bursary every year to solve some difficulties in her life. In her studies, the teachers of the college also gave her a lot of help and support. In July 2023, Wang Nana went to the Autonomous Region Disabled Persons' Federation for an internship, and her colleagues and leaders cared for her and made her feel the warmth of the big family of the Disabled Persons' Federation.
