Due to the simultaneous operation of the intercity railway from Zhuhai Airport to Hengqin and the Jinhai Highway Bridge between Jinwan and Hengqin, the traffic efficiency from Zhuhai Airport to Hengqin has been significantly improved. At the same time, the supporting facilities around Hengqin Port are relatively perfect, it is more convenient to take a flight to Macao Airport through Hengqin Port, and the number of tourists who travel abroad through Hengqin Port with passports has increased significantly10,000 person-times, an increase of about 253%。As the Spring Festival holiday approaches, the number of tourists visiting Macao to visit and purchase Chinese New Year goods has also increased, and since January 26, more than 10,000 people have passed through the Hengqin Port every day with Exit-entry Permits for Travelling to and from Hong Kong and Macao.
