In order to accelerate the development of Busan, the local government is promoting a plan to establish Busan International K-pop High School (tentative name). The school is scheduled to open in March 2028 and will offer a wide range of educational programs to accept foreign students.

K-pop is an important part of the Korean Wave and is popular around the world, and many teenagers have dreams of becoming K-pop singers.
