How much impact will the hegemonic behavior of the United States and India have on China?

Two events have attracted the attention of the international community. One is that the United States forced the Dutch company ASML to cancel some orders for lithography machines exported to China in order to hinder China's chip development. The other is India's pressure on Sri Lanka to prohibit Chinese research vessels from conducting research activities in Sri Lanka's exclusive economic zone in order to maintain hegemony in the Indian Ocean.

Both of these events are a kind of backstabbing of the United States and India to China, and they are also a kind of sabotage of normal global trade and diplomatic relations. Their aim is to weaken China's economic and technological power, as well as its influence on the international stage. Their means are to use their technological superiority and military deterrence to coerce and induce other countries and companies to stay away from China or abandon cooperation with China.

This hegemonic act has undoubtedly brought certain difficulties and challenges to China, as well as certain losses and troubles to China's partners. However, this kind of behavior will not last long, nor will it change China's development trend and international status. This is because such an act not only violates the law of economic development, but also damages the interests and reputation of the United States and India itself.

First of all, from the perspective of the law of economic development, technological innovation is unstoppable, market competition is inevitable, and win-win cooperation is irreplaceable. It is unrealistic and unfair for the United States and India to try to prevent China's technological progress and market expansion through technological blockade and political intervention. China has a huge market demand, strong scientific research capabilities, a complete industrial chain, and extensive international cooperation. The crackdown by the United States and India can only stimulate China's motivation for independent innovation and self-reliance, and can only promote closer cooperation between China and other countries and enterprises. China's chip industry and marine scientific research will not be stagnant due to the interference of the United States and India, but will be more advanced because of challenges.

Second, judging from the interests and reputation of the United States and India themselves, their hegemonic acts do not outweigh the losses and bring humiliation upon themselves. Their actions have not only damaged their economic and trade exchanges and political mutual trust with China, but also damaged their relations and credibility with other countries and enterprises. Their actions have not only deprived them of their own market opportunities and technical cooperation, but also weakened their own international influence and moral standing. Their actions not only make them themselves isolated and opposed, but also make themselves questioned and dissatisfied. The hegemonic behavior of the United States and India can only make them lose more friends and partners, and can only plunge them into more difficulties and crises.

To sum up, the hegemonic behavior of the United States and India has a certain impact on China, but it is not a decisive one. China has sufficient capacity and confidence to meet the challenges posed by the United States and India, maintain its own development momentum, safeguard its national interests, and expand its international cooperation. China also has enough reasons and confidence to adhere to its own development path, follow its own development laws, promote its own development innovation, and achieve its own development goals. China will not be swayed by the hegemonic acts of the United States and India, nor will it be deterred by the hegemonic acts of the United States and India. China will continue to follow its own path and do its own thing well, so as to make its country stronger, its people happier, and its world more peaceful.
