This is a song that hangs the past and hurts the present. The author, Meng Haoran, a native of Xiangyang, Hubei, was a famous hermit poet in the Tang Dynasty. However, although he has never been out of office, he is not willing to let go of himself, and he has been in a painful contradiction all his life. Dashou Mountain, located in Xiangyang, Hubei, is the place where Fuxi was buried in the legend, and the Dongfu Dojo of Chi Songzi. There are many historic sites on the mountain, such as Liu Biao's tomb, Wang Cangjing, Yanghu's fallen tears tablet and Du Pre's Shentan tablet, and so on. Yanghu had great political achievements in Xiangyang, and after his death, the local people erected a monument to commemorate him in Da Xian Mountain, which is the Yanggong Monument. Faced with the relics left by this predecessor, the author finally could no longer hide his emotions and burst into tears.

Why is the author so sentimental?

Let's first look at a record in the Book of Jin: when Yanghu was in office, he once climbed Da Xian Mountain, and said to the people who traveled: "Since the universe, there is this mountain, the origin of the virtuous and victorious, climb this far away, such as me and the Qing are many, all annihilated and unheard, making people sad!" Compare the first couplet of this poem, "Personnel have metabolism, and exchanges become ancient and modern", is there a lot of similarities in thoughts and emotions?

However, in the end, Yanghu did not "disappear into obscurity". As a generation of famous generals, he has established immortal achievements, and the existence of Yanggong Monument is the best witness.
