There is a fable that may provoke you to think: There is a young man who is constantly stuck in various troubles and cannot extricate himself, and he runs to consult a Zen master in the hope of gaining liberation. Instead of preferring him, the Zen master asked him to carry a bag full of stones and told him, "If you feel heavy, put down some stones." The young man felt that it made sense, so he put down some stones. The Zen master told him to carry the bag on his back and kept telling him to put down some stones. Gradually, the young man laid down stone after stone, and finally the bag was empty. At this time, the Zen master asked him, "Now, do you feel relaxed?" The young man nodded and said, "Yes, I really feel a lot more relaxed now." The Zen master smiled and said, "That's it, the reason why people feel heavy is often because they are carrying too many worries, worries and pains, and if you keep letting go of them, you will feel relaxed and happy." ”

The wisdom of this Zen master lies in the fact that he sees the crux of the human mind: that our troubles are often due to a lack of gratitude and an unhealthy personality.

Gratitude is a positive state of mind that dispels the darkness in our hearts and makes us feel the beauty of life. However, in real life, we often get caught up in troubles due to a lack of gratitude. For example, we feel lost and bitter because we didn't get what we wanted. We will be haunted by the harm that others have done to us; We feel dissatisfied because we have too little; We can even feel lost and helpless because we expect too much from others. These are all because of our unhealthy mentality and lack of gratitude. If we can have gratitude, we will see the good side of life, be grateful for the people and things around us, know how to cherish what we have, and enjoy the happiness of the moment. In this way, our minds will become relaxed and happy, and our troubles will disappear.

Personality imperfection is also an important cause of our troubles. Unsound personality usually refers to a person who has some problems in personality, emotions, thinking, etc., which causes them to be unable to adapt to social life or realize self-worth. An unsound personality may make us feel inferior, depressed, helpless, and other negative emotions, which can lead us to endless troubles. For example, some people may feel inferior because they are introverted, shy, and unsociable. Some people may be troubled by their emotional problems such as suspiciousness, sensitivity, irritability, etc.; Others may feel distressed because their way of thinking is too extreme or paranoid. If we can face up to these problems and seek help, and adjust our mentality and behavior through psychological counseling, self-reflection, etc., then we will gradually get rid of our troubles.

To sum up, a lack of gratitude and an unsound personality are two important reasons for our troubles. However, if we can actively adjust our mindset and behavior, and constantly let go of the worries and worries in our hearts, we will gradually get rid of the troubles and feel the ease and happiness in our hearts.

Let's be a grateful person together! Be grateful to those who bring us joy; Be grateful for those who have hurt us; Be grateful for the moments that have left us lost and helpless; Be grateful for the processes that have made us stronger and more mature. When we have a grateful heart, our hearts will be full of sunshine and warmth, and our lives will become better because of it. At the same time, we should also pay attention to self-growth and improvement, and cultivate a sound personality and a good attitude. Only in this way can we truly get rid of our troubles and live the life we want.
