Low-temperature concentrating evaporator

Low-temperature concentration evaporator is a commonly used separation technology, which is widely used in chemical, pharmaceutical, food and other industries. It works by taking advantage of the difference in the boiling point of substances to separate the solute in solution from the solvent at low temperatures.

1. Heat the solution to be concentrated to a temperature below the boiling point. This temperature is usually low to avoid thermal decomposition or volatilization of solutes. Heating can be done from an external heating source or by using waste heat from other processes.

2. The heated solution is introduced into the low-temperature concentration evaporator. Inside the evaporator, the solution comes into contact with the evaporator wall, creating a thin film flow. This way of film flow can increase the contact area between the solution and the wall, and improve the heat transfer efficiency.

3. In the process of film flow, the solute in the solution will gradually evaporate due to the difference in boiling point. The evaporated solute forms a vapor inside the evaporator while the solvent continues to flow.

4. In order to separate the solutes in the steam, the low-temperature concentration evaporator is usually equipped with a condenser. The condenser achieves separation by reducing the temperature of the vapor so that the solute changes from a gaseous state to a liquid state. The separated solute can be further processed or utilized.

5. The solvent treated by the low-temperature concentration evaporator will flow out of the evaporator and continue to participate in the next round of concentration process. The residue inside the evaporator needs to be cleaned to ensure the normal operation of the equipment.

In general, a low-temperature concentration evaporator separates the solute in the solution from the solvent by taking advantage of the difference in the boiling point of the substance. It works by heating the solution, evaporating the solute into steam, and then separating the solute from the steam through a condenser. This separation technology has important application value in industrial production, which can improve product purity and reduce resource waste.
