On December 29, 2023, the California Office of Environmental Health Hazard Assessment (OEHHA) announced that it would:Bisphenol S (bps).Added to California's list of 65 chemical substances. The reason for the addition is that bisphenols are toxic to reproduction. According to California Proposition 65, once a substance has been officially added to the list, if the product contains the substance, a warning must be completed within one year of the accession. As a result, the warning label requirements for bisphenol S will come into effect on December 29, 2024.
