When it comes to tutoring, it has always been talked about, a total of six children, and four generals have been trained, especially her daughter Liu Miqun, who is the first female major general of the Air Force in the history of our army.
So, how did Liu Miqun grow into an Air Force major general? What is the secret of cultivation?

Liu Miqun once gave an interview, and when he mentioned his impression of his father, he used one word, that is, "hardworking".
She recalled that after her father got up and washed up every day, he would call the children up and read together, and this habit was maintained for many years, until the children grew up**, Liu Miqun said with emotion: "My father's hard work in learning has affected our brothers and sisters for many years, and we can have those achievements later, all thanks to my father's hard training for us." ”
In 1962, Liu Miqun was admitted to the Beijing Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics, and under the influence of the era of being proud of the research and development of missiles, launch vehicles, atomic bombs, etc., Liu Miqun decided to study related majors, and her decision was also strongly supported by her father.
In 1975, Liu Miqun was specially recruited by the Air Force and entered a laboratory for scientific research.
At the beginning of his scientific research work, Liu Miqun was very unfamiliar with some professional knowledge, and the work was not going well, so he was a little withdrawn.
When you know about it, you encourage your daughter and say, "Didn't you say that? 'There is nothing difficult in the world, as long as you are willing to climb', it doesn't matter if you are unfamiliar with knowledge, you can catch up from the beginning. ”
With the encouragement of his father, Liu Miqun insisted on working while studying relevant knowledge hard, and finally gnawed this hard bone, and his work became handy.
In 1984, Liu Miqun's scientific research team received a task from their superiors and sent them to modify a certain type of ground-to-air missile propellant developed by a brother unit.
The difficulty of this work is beyond everyone's imagination, and it also made Liu Miqun retreat for a while, but thinking of his father's teachings to himself, Liu Miqun did not give up, but advanced in the face of difficulties, led the team to spend several months, constantly tackled key problems, and finally successfully solved all the problems and handed over a satisfactory answer to the organization.
After learning of this, ***, who was 92 years old at the time, said to his wife Wang Ronghua: "Miqun, this child is good, and he has finally contributed to the country." ”
Because of this outstanding contribution, Liu Miqun was awarded the honorary title of "National 38 Red Flag Bearer" in the second year.
In 1998, Liu Miqun became the vice president of the Air Force Command College, becoming the first female vice president in the history of the academy.
The academy was established in 1958 on the basis of the Air Force Department of Nanjing Military Academy, and the dean of Nanjing Military Academy at that time was one of the founders of the Air Force Command College.
It is also worth mentioning that Liu Miqun's eldest brother, Liu Taihang, also served as the vice president of the Air Force Command College and a double dean, which is still very rare among the descendants of the founding generals.
During his work at the Air Force Command College, Liu Miqun was very hands-on in everything, and he was well aware of both equipment construction and cadet development, and put forward many suggestions for improvement, which were unanimously recognized by the majority of teachers and students.
In 2001, Liu Miqun was promoted to the rank of major general, becoming the first female major general in the history of our air force.
