During the cold winter months, southerners often feel that they are better off than in the north. They believe that although the temperature in the south is also relatively low, at least it will not be as cold as in the north. However, in fact, although the temperature in the winter in the north is low, the indoor heating is very good, and the indoor temperature is usually around 20 degrees. In contrast, indoor temperatures in the south are so low that many families even need to wear padded jackets to keep warm. 
To put it mildly, we can wear tank tops and big pants at home in the northern winter, and even eat ice cream and drink cold drinks to cool down. Southerners may ask, is there heating in the toilet? Of course there is, otherwise wouldn't you be frozen in the shower? In fact, many homes in the south have now installed heating, and the cost is not high. 
Overall, winters in the south are really hard, wet and cold. In this respect, it is true that southerners should not be proud, nor should they be compared with the north. After all, winter heating has become a common phenomenon in the north, while there is still a long way to go in the south. So, for the southern winter, we need to work harder to improve the temperature and humidity indoors so that people can have a more comfortable winter.
