Beijing News (Chief Reporter Guo Tie) Hubei, Anhui and other places have recently encountered freezing extreme weather, and whether the production, transportation and sales of local enterprises can be guaranteed have attracted attention. On February 7, a reporter from the Beijing News learned from dairy-related enterprises such as Mengniu, Guangming, and Modern Dairy that the freezing weather had a limited impact on the production of enterprises, and the supply of the terminal market was not affected.
It is understood that Mengniu is a key investment attraction enterprise of the Wuhan Municipal Party Committee and the city. Mengniu Group's largest school milk production base in China, Mengniu (Wuhan) Low Temperature Factory, covers three categories: low-temperature yogurt, fresh milk and cheese, providing industrial support for Wuhan to carry out the national "Student Drinking Milk Plan". In response to the recent freezing and extreme weather in Hubei, Mengniu Wuhan Plant took the initiative to respond to the characteristics of the plant, key travel routes, and important entrances and exits to ensure production safety and smooth logistics, and ensure that relevant production and operations were not affected. Mengniu replied to the Beijing News reporter on February 7 that it will continue to pay attention to weather changes, ensure product quality, and help consumers spend a happy and peaceful Spring Festival.
As a subsidiary of Mengniu's animal husbandry, Modern Dairy has three pastures in Hefei, Bengbu and Ma'anshan headquartered in Anhui, of which more than 40,000 dairy cows are raised in Bengbu Ranch. According to modern animal husbandry, in the early days of freezing extreme weather, the operation of Hefei and Bengbu ranches was affected by a few hours, and production and transportation have returned to normal.
Bright Dairy is the earliest and largest milk delivery platform in Wuhan, and has carried out the layout of the whole dairy industry chain in the local area. In May 2022, Bright Dairy invested 7600 million yuan invested in the construction of a modern fresh dairy processing plant with 31 production lines and a daily processing capacity of 1,200 tons of raw milk in Wuhan, positioning it as the company's core factory in central China. In Funan County, Fuyang City, Anhui Province, Suixi County, Huaibei City, Dingyuan County, Chuzhou City and other places, Bright Dairy has also built a number of ranch projects.
The relevant person in charge of Bright Dairy told the Beijing News reporter that the freezing weather had some impact on production and transportation, but the company deployed products from the surrounding areas in time to supplement, so the terminal products in the affected areas were not affected.
