People's Daily Online, Beijing, February 3 (Reporter Li Yan) The 2023 Global Luxury Hotels and Tourism Bureau Awards Ceremony was held in Beijing a few days ago. In the 2023 selection, 4 overseas and 100 domestic hotels, 24 overseas tourism bureaus such as Switzerland Tourism and France Tourism Development Agency, and 1 domestic cultural tourism organization were selected.

At the award ceremony, nearly 200 people attended the ceremony, including Mauritian Ambassador to China Wang Chunwan, Minister of the South African Embassy in China, Huda Sharif, Chargé d'Affaires of the Maldives Embassy in China, Narika Kodikata, Minister Counselor of the Embassy of Sri Lanka in China, Desudia, Cultural and Tourism Counselor of the Turkish Embassy in China, representatives of some award-winning institutions, cultural and tourism circles and representatives.

As a strategic partner of the award ceremony, the Shanxi Provincial Department of Culture and Tourism brought exhibits and wonderful cultural performances with Shanxi characteristics, including cloth dolls from Jinxiufang, Shanxi aged vinegar from Baoyuan Old Vinegar Workshop, traditional iron kettle from Jinyifang, and purple sand pottery from Xiangning. At the same time, Wang Zhenhua, the intangible inheritor of Shanxi paper-cutting, demonstrated his portrait paper-cutting skills on the spot, and completed a hand-cut paper-cut work in 5 minutes, which attracted applause and praise from the onlookers.

In the performance session, Wang Zhanglong, a master of Shanxi noodle art and Guinness World Record holder, brought wonderful noodle performances such as "dough blowing balloons", "wheelbarrow knife cutting noodles" and "ten thousand wisps of dragon whisker noodles". Among them, the stunt of pulling out 16,384 dragon whisker noodles with a ramen is even more amazing. The highly distinctive opera water sleeve performance shows the profound charm of traditional Chinese culture.

It is understood that the "Global Luxury Hotels and Tourism" selection event sponsored by Luxury Times magazine has been held for 4 sessions and has been widely praised by the industry.
