People's Daily Online, Stockholm, February 3 (Reporter Yin Miao) On February 2, Chinese Ambassador to Sweden Cui Aimin and his wife attended the opening ceremony of the "Happy New Year" Zodiac Lantern Festival held by the Chinese Cultural Center in Stockholm at King's Garden Square in Stockholm, which was attended by more than 300 people from all walks of life in Sweden and overseas Chinese in Switzerland.

Cui Aimin announced the opening of the Spring Festival Lantern Festival, extended New Year blessings to Chinese and Swiss friends, introduced the rich cultural connotation of the 12 zodiac signs, and said that lighting up the lanterns is full of people's expectations for happiness, peace and friendship, and hopes that the Spring Festival Lantern Festival will bring auspicious luck to the people of China and Sweden.
