The War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression was an extremely arduous war against aggression in Chinese history, in which the Chinese people paid a terrible price in order to resist the aggression of Japanese imperialism. But in this war, there were some generals who colluded with the Japanese army, or in order to preserve their strength, they rebelled and became a puppet army, and Han Fuyu is a typical representative.
Han Fuyu took refuge in Feng Yuxiang in the early days, and Feng Yuxiang saw that he had a certain culture, his appearance was literate, and he could write a good hand, so he valued him very much. Because of his bravery, Han Fuyu soon became Feng Yuxiang's right-hand man with Shi Yousan, Sun Liangcheng, Liu Ruming and others, and became one of his thirteen Taibao. In 1925, Han Fuqu served as the commander of the First Brigade of the First Division of the First Army of the National Revolutionary Army. In November, when the National Revolutionary Army attacked Tianjin, he was the first unit to lead his troops into Tianjin, and was thus promoted to commander of the First Division of the First Army and commander of the Tianjin garrison. In 1929, under the heavy bribe of Chiang Kai-shek, Han Fuyu betrayed Feng Yuxiang and accepted the commander-in-chief of the Third Route Army appointed by Chiang Kai-shek.
In 1930, during the Central Plains War, Han Fuyu led his troops to Shandong and began his seven-year rule over Shandong. In order to preserve his strength and consolidate the territory of Shandong, Han Fuyu intercepted taxes in Shandong, expanded the army, and drove the people away from Shandong, and became the king of Shandong.
After the victory of the Anti-Japanese War, Chiang Kai-shek, in order to win over Han Fuyu to resist the Japanese, appointed him as the deputy commander of the Fifth Theater and the commander-in-chief of the Third Army, responsible for commanding the Shandong military and undertaking the defense of the Yellow River. When Han Fuyu and the Japanese army first fought, Han Fuyu's headquarters was very large. Therefore, in order to preserve his strength, Han Fuyu almost retreated without a fight, and took the initiative to give up the natural danger of Mount Tai of the Yellow River, and abandoned the Yellow River defense line that was originally expected to be held for several weeks within a few days. Han Fuyu and other warlords secretly formulated an anti-Chiang plan, and in order to preserve their own strength, Han Fuyu also colluded with the Japanese to reach a series of ** agreements.
At that time, the Chinese battlefield was very unoptimistic, the troops were miserable, and in the face of the Japanese attack, Chiang Kai-shek also wanted to make an example of a hundred and deter some generals who did not resist, so he set his sights on Han Fuyu. During the Battle of Xuzhou in 1938, Chiang Kai-shek convened a military conference in Kaifeng and asked all generals above the division level in the First and Fifth Theaters to participate. Dai Li personally selected a group of spies to prepare to arrest Han Fuyu, and Han Fuyu also had his own eyes and ears, but Dai Li was very cautious about this operation, and Han Fuyu did not notice anything unusual.
In order to reassure Han Fuyu, Li Zongren, the commander of the Fifth Theater, who had long been dissatisfied with Han Fuyu, also said that he would ensure Han Fuyu's safety. When Kaifeng was finally opened, Han Fuyu was still not at ease, so he took a regiment of troops and ten guards to Kaifeng by special train. As soon as Han Fuyu arrived at the Kaifeng Railway Station, Liu Zhi, Song Zheyuan, deputy commander of the First Theater of Operations, and other generals hurriedly went up to greet him and deceived the guard troops he led.
After Han Fuyu arrived at the venue, Dai Li arranged for someone to confiscate his **, and the guards were also withdrawn, and many high-ranking generals greeted him one after another to divert his attention. After Chiang Kai-shek arrived at the scene, he began to speak on the combat situation in the Fifth War Zone, but as he spoke, the conversation suddenly changed, and the contradiction pointed directly at Han Fuyu: "Han Fuyu, you stand up." I ask you, why don't you carry out the military order? Why give up Jinan? Han Fuyu was not convinced, and directly confronted Chiang Kai-shek: "It's my fault for giving up Jinan, may I ask the chairman, who is responsible for giving up Nanjing?" Han Fuyu's words directly made Chiang Kai-shek unable to step down, and Chiang Kai-shek's face changed and said: "Nanjing has given up, and naturally someone is responsible." I'm not asking about Nanjing, I'm asking about Jinan. ”
Han Fuyu also argued with Chiang Kai-shek, and was pulled out of the venue by Liu Zhi, Han Fuyu pushed away the chair and walked out angrily. As soon as Han Fuyu was deceived by Liu Zhi to the door, the military commander spies who had been waiting for him jumped out and pressed Han Fuyu into a small car. After passing by the side of the military court, Dai Li personally led people to shoot Han Fuyu to death. Chiang Kai-shek was very satisfied with the action of the military commander, and also commended Dai Li and the military commander who carried out the mission. Chiang Kai-shek's action did deter some wavering generals, and later in the Battle of Xuzhou, the troops of the Fifth Theater caused a lot of ** to the Japanese army.
