On December 10, 2023, the Heart Continent team and Bianyang Middle School jointly held a career research activity.
The theme of the event was "Meet at Famous Schools, Foresee the Future", which aimed to help students better understand their interests and career plans, and lay a solid foundation for future development. A total of 60 people participated in this research activity, including 52 outstanding student representatives and 8 teacher representatives. Two provincial key universities in Guizhou Province were selected for research at the activity site, namely Guizhou University and Guizhou University for Nationalities.
At 9:00 a.m., the teachers and students of the school arrived at Guizhou University for Nationalities to hold the launching ceremony of this research activity, and Wang Chaoju, Secretary of the Party Committee of the School of Ethnic Culture and Cognitive Science of Guizhou University for Nationalities (hereinafter referred to as the School of Cognition), Long Haiyan, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and Dean of the School of Cognition, and relevant leaders and teachers of the School of Cognition attended the meeting.
At the meeting, Wang Chaoju, Secretary of the Party Committee of the College of Cognition, and Long Haiyan, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and Dean of the College, expressed a warm welcome to the arrival of the school, and Dean Long Haiyan made a detailed introduction to the campus culture, history, faculty and student training of Guizhou University for Nationalities. Immediately afterwards, Professor Yue Caizhen, the master's tutor of the School of Cognition, brought a lecture entitled "Exploring the University" to the teachers and students of the school. Professor Yue gave lectures on the types and distribution of Chinese universities, the setting of university majors, university study and life, and the prospects for university graduation. Professor Yue said to the students: In the three years of high school, we should study and solve difficulties wisely, use all learning resources to master a unique ability to fully enhance our subjectivity, and the study and life of high school can be regarded as an object thing, and its pay is proportional to the gain.
From 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., under the leadership of Secretary Wang Chaoju of the School of Cognition, the teachers and students of the school went deep into the campus to experience and visit the library, training center, student activity center, national defense education center and many other teaching points.
At 14:00 in the afternoon, the teachers and students of the school took a bus to Guizhou University, the second site of the research activity, the national double first-class universities, 211 engineering colleges and universities, and provincial key universities. The 52 students were divided into several groups and went to all corners of the campus of Guizhou University to study the requirements of the research task list. Subsequently, each group went to the living area of the students of Guizhou University to visit and feel the atmosphere of university study and life, and the students were immersed in the beautiful campus scenery and talked about their college dreams.
At 16:30 in the afternoon, in a happy and laughing atmosphere, the students ended the day's research activities, and the students talked about what they saw and felt and gained at the end of the day.
