AI has to redo the experience of the phone

The competition pattern of AI mobile phones is no longer compared with parameters and configurations, but with real knives and guns competing for "hard power".

The Digital Intelligence Research Society believes that the "hard power" of AI mobile phones is mainly in the bottleneck of chip computing power and cloud collaboration and integration. Self-built private cloud is certainly the best solution, but it requires more financial support.

This requires mobile phone brands to have strong ecological integration capabilities and unified AI interfaces. At that time, the competition will be leading, and there must be its brand position.

Why is OPPO at the forefront?

Chen Mingyong believes that a new era of AI mobile phones is accelerating. This round of AI technology, which is based on large models, is reshaping the future of the mobile phone industry.

In the past two years, OPPO under Chen Mingyong has also been rushing to AI. In the early days, OPPO launched the voice assistant Xiaobu, followed by the launch of AI recognition** capabilities, and followed up with the launch of the Andean large model (ADESGPT) in 2023. At the same time, AI mobile phones will support sharper and more accurate natural semantic understanding, have stronger self-learning capabilities, and provide more intuitive multimodal interactions. On this basis, the traditional application ecosystem is endowed with new multiple capabilities after being grafted onto AI mobile phones, in order to achieve truly intelligent services.

For OPPO, as a mobile phone player who has been deeply involved in the AI field for many years, it launched its first AI model in 2020, when OpenAI's ChatGPT was still in its infancy. In 2023, in the rapid iteration of ChatGPT, the Andean large model independently trained by OPPO will only lag behind GPT 4 in the Superclue knowledge and encyclopedia ability rankings. Corresponding to the Find X7 mobile phone, which is equipped with a 7 billion model on the current device side, its AI computing power also ranks first among Andriod models.

But OPPO is still not satisfied. In the future, OPPO will continue to increase investment in cloud computing power, and the self-built OPPO AI Marina Bay Data Center will deploy different application scenarios corresponding to the three levels of Titan, Turbo, and Tiny, in order to achieve device-cloud collaboration and efficient deployment.
