China is the world's largest market for integrated circuits, consuming about 35% of the world's wafer production each year.
In addition, China is the world's largest production center for electrical appliances, producing 70% of the world's production of mobile phones, televisions, computers, portable game consoles, and other products.

To this end, China is vigorously developing the semiconductor industry to improve the self-sufficiency rate of semiconductor products, reduce imports, reduce dependence on exports, and strive to reach more than 70%.
In recent years, China has established a number of semiconductor manufacturing enterprises, and actively invited foreign businessmen to set up semiconductor manufacturing bases in China to improve the global production capacity of China's integrated circuit industry.
According to Trendforce, the company has 44 factories, including 25 12-inch factories, 4 6-inch factories, and 15 8-inch factories.
In addition, of the 44 power stations currently under construction, 15 12-inch power stations and 8 8-inch power stations will be completed within three to five years.
Once all the new plants are up and running, China's biscuit production is likely to more than double in five to seven years. Some analysts estimate that China's biscuit production will grow by 60% over the next three years.
However, despite this planning, most of the results remain on mature wafers, especially 40-65nm processes, an area that has not yet been expanded and not enough attention has been paid to the performance of advanced processes.
