Mr. Chen Guoyong, a famous Chinese landscape painter, art educator, professor and doctoral supervisor of Xi'an Academy of Fine Arts, suffered a heart attack at 4:31 on December 10, 2020, and passed away at the age of 73 in Chongqing Xinqiao Hospital.
Chen Guoyong (1948-2020), male, a thin guest, a native of Fengdu, taught in the Department of Chinese Painting of Xi'an Academy of Fine Arts after graduating in 1980. During his 30 years as a teacher, he has nurtured thousands of students with a humble and approachable attitude.
Mr. Chen Guoyong has always focused on the research, exploration and innovation of Chinese landscape painting, and his works pursue the spiritual connotation of Chinese landscape painting. "Bashan Yuxiu", "Alpine Flowing Water" and other works have been selected into "The Complete Works of Chinese Modern Art", "Illustrated Chinese Contemporary Art", "The Complete Works of Chinese Modern Landscape Painting", "Today's Chinese Art" and other important large-scale albums, "Zhongnan Mountain Ruixue", "Shaoling Plateau" and other representative works have been published in "Art World", "Rong Bao Zhai", "Art Observation" and other important domestic professional journals, published three personal albums.
